Chapter 325: Li Mei’s Resolve!
In the middle of the night, Li Mei phoned me asking us to meet. On the phone, she seemed rather disoriented and sad. The following morning, after Salasha and Erie had gone out for some errands, Li Mei came over to the apartment.
" You can sit anywhere, Mei." Li Mei sat up in the living room while I grabbed us some refreshments. Whatever she wanted to tell me, I could guess just by her expression, it would be nothing but a complicated discussion.
I had two margaritas left in the fridge so I brought them along with water and some cookies. As soon as I put the tray down, Li Mei opened the bottle and drank almost half of it at once. " Easy there, Mei! You shouldn't drink so much at once without having anything first."
