The same night, at Ying Yue's apartment, as both Salasha and Erie were sound asleep, a knock was heard on the door.
" Who could it be at this late hour?" Ying Yue wondered.
She unlocked the door and to her surprise, it was none other than her big brother, Ying Jie. This was his first time visiting his younger sister ever since she moved in. Ying Yue was exceedingly happy to see him.
" Come inside, big brother!"
She let him in and as he sat down in the living room, she headed over to fetch water for him which she brought up a minute and a half later and gave the latest.
" What brings you here in the middle of the night? Is everything okay?" I asked with concern in my question.
