Authors note: This fanfic is back but I am still fixing some kinks and deciding where to go with the characters, so the updates might not be regular until the next week. Also, the chapters will be short for the next few chapters but I'll make up for it in later chapters. Hope I can deliver a good story to you all. Enjoy!

{Flash Forward, the frontlines of the war between the Undead and Westerosi Continent}
"Get the giants and the mammoths to take the scaffolding and the rune-carved ice into place. Do it fast! We don't have much time." Bran was anxiously scolding all the people working in the large camp.
It was an army made up of many forces within Westeros, mostly from the north. Other reinforcements were arriving as well. But the frontline of this war was not as most would imagine a war to be like.
Everyone was used as logistical support no matter who it was. They were not just going to battle the undead creatures, they were going to build a whole wall to stop them from coming back. And the greatest builder known to man was tasked with building such a wall.
Bran Stark wasn't pressured by the heavy responsibility of building such a massive wall that will be built mostly using magic and some regular construction. No, he was nervous because he had some hope in his heart that if he built the wall fast enough, his brother Raven can come back.
"Don't stress yourself and the entire camp like this, Master Raven will be fine. It's just that when he comes back, we will be long gone. So, think about leaving behind a legacy that can last until he comes back and knows about our deeds." Lann patted Bran on the back and consoled.
He had been with Raven too but Bran was practically raised by Raven for the most part so the attachment was also stronger.
Bran sighed a breath of hot mist, "I know. You handle things here, I will go to destroy some of those rotting skeletons to calm myself."
Lann nodded before reminding him, "Don't get lost in the battle like the other time. There are delegations from the east coming. Their messenger says they come from a magical kingdom and want to join the battle. You need to be present since you're one of the most proficient magicians we have,"
"Oh? Magicians from the east huh? Brother Raven would sometimes talk about a kingdom of mages and machinists that was once great but started to become twisted and broke apart later. I wonder what kind of magic they can do." Bran showed a thoughtful smile while grabbing his hammer from the side.
"I knew something like this would interest you. So, don't dawdle. No matter how many we kill, those skeletons will keep coming until we build that wall. So come back to focus on that." Lann advised while Bran was off with his hammer, singing some tunes he learned from Raven.

"Why did we even come this far into this cold hell? Can't these barbarians of the western continent solve the problem themselves?" An apprentice mage in blue robes complained to his friend.
*Thunk* A wooden staff hit the apprentice's head from behind.
"This is an order from the empress herself. We have to assist these people in stopping whatever threat is hidden here. It is the source of corruption that gives power to the Bloodstone Emperor. Helping these people is helping the empire." A senior mage wearing red robes reprimanded the young apprentice.
This was the group of mages who had come from Yi Ti, a country in the land farther east than the east most people knew of. It was also a country that was part of the legendary Empire of Dawn, the greatest empire to ever exist.
Although, right now that empire was crumbling. The Bloodstone Emperor in his madness and obsession to throw his sister the Amethyst Empress off the throne had contracted a dark entity and learned dark arts like necromancy.
The once great empire was divided into factions all seeking power while the corruption brought about by the Bloodstone Emperor was casting its shadows everywhere.
In a time of desperation, a warrior who claimed to have been enlightened by the gods came to see the Amethyst Empress and told her about a foul being in the Western continent who is the source of the corruption.
He also told her that it was his mission to end this long and dark night to bring about a new dawn for the empire. And so, a group of mages and warriors were sent to aid the Westerosi people to bring down that source of corruption.

"So you're saying this warrior here can end this being that has been creating all this chaos?" Bran asked while pointing at a brawny eastern man. He didn't want to but he couldn't help but hold on to this little bit of hope.
"No, I am to end its herald. The leader of those skeletons. As for the being itself, it is still your wall that will suppress it." Azor Ahai, the warrior replied.
Bran slammed on the table, "I can smash those rotten skeletons myself. What use are you then?"
The other ruler and kings looked at Bran with some surprise. He was getting more and more temperamental.
Garth Greenhand looked at Bran and spoke, "Can you really? I've fought with the king of those skeletons before. If the Storm King had not come to my rescue, I would've drowned in the sea of skeletons. Don't let your anger affect the war kid."
Bran huffed but quieted down when Lann pressed on his shoulder. "We don't mind working with you but we would like for you to teach us some of your knowledge. Of course, magic is off the table, I know mages keep those spells secret."
The other kings and rulers nodded in approval. Even if they came to help, it doesn't change the fact that the people from the east need their help too. So it isn't too much to ask for the easterners to share some of their knowledge.
The leader of the eastern group, Court Mage Illar replied after some discussions with his group, "We agree to your conditions. But it has to be both ways, you have to share knowledge with us too."
Thus an agreement was reached with everyone being happy about it except for Bran who was still sour about having his hopes dashed.
