#01 immortality

<p>I always get the feeling that my head might explode. I don't know the reason for it but one thing is certain, it's the contained emotions I bottle up. The feeling of regret, anger, and un fulfillment.<br/><br/>I have no reason to feel this sway since I have a good life, but I always felt like there was an empty hole that couldn't be filled, No matter what.<br/><br/>"Almana, honey could you please come help your brother and dad setting up dinner on the table".<br/><br/>"Huh-oh yea sure Mother I'll be there just give me a sec".<br/><br/>While she left I grabbed a hair band placed on my wrist and put my long black hair in a messy bun while looking at my self in the mirror.<br/><br/> Despite my looks I'm actually 16. People always confuse me for someone older since I have a mustache and a chin beard.<br/><br/>No wonder people mistake me as an older person.<br/><br/>***<br/><br/>"Hey could you put this over there, Almana"<br/><br/>My older Brother talked to me while chewing on some dry squid leg that Father gave him. They picked up this habit while watching some movie.<br/><br/>"Honey dinner has been served!"<br/><br/>"Father you shouldn't talk while having squid in your mouth and isn't about time you loose that energy its almost 8pm". <br/><br/>Father started pouting at me as if he was just scolded by my mom.<br/><br/>"Almana you shouldn't talk to your Father like that."<br/><br/>"Ah. Yes. Sorry, Mother."<br/><br/>My older brother looked at me and chuckled while I got scolded and Father gave me the side eyes like he was trying to say that I deserved it.<br/><br/>These bastards.<br/><br/>I didn't dare say it out loud because Mother was looking at me with fierce eyes.<br/><br/>"Okay time to eat right boys?"<br/><br/> We all simultaneously nodded as Mother said this.<br/><br/>While we ate Father and Brother started talking about the movie with the dry squid. Mother listened while she gave small giggles at the bad explanation that Father gave her, and the weird sound effects my brother made.<br/><br/>In the other hand I observed them with serene eyes and spoke.<br/><br/>"You guys need to grow up"<br/><br/>"Almana, that level headed head of your could wind up as a curse. You're too calm all the time, loosen up and act like a kid your age."<br/><br/>Mother said this and I scoffed at her words. The room felt quiet and my mother formed a scary face. Miraculously she turned and saw that Father had food on his nose.<br/><br/>"Pfft"<br/><br/>Mother laughed and we all followed with her. We couldn't stop laughing that are stomach started to hurt.<br/><br/>"What? What's so funny?"<br/><br/>I grabbed my phone and took a picture of his face, then turned my phone towards him.<br/><br/>"Eeek".<br/><br/>We continued laughing and the kitchen table got quiet as we tried to catch our breath, soon after the kitchen lights started flickering followed by tremble's.<br/><br/>The ground shook and we started loosing balance, the pictures and clocks hung around the walls started to fall and become crooked, everything around the house could be heard falling and breaking.<br/><br/>"an earthquake?".<br/><br/>My Brother shouted while my parents and him started moving to the living room. While I had fallen to the ground while picking up my phone.<br/><br/>Than in a blink of an eye.<br/><br/>Booom!<br/><br/><br/>***<br/><br/>I was on the ground and my vision was blurred. I felt a cold sensation flowing from my forehead to my eyes, I slowly lifted my hand to my head and looked at the liquid that was on it. It was blood and it started to hurt like hell. <br/><br/>Keuk.<br/><br/>I heard my Mothers voice and realized my surrounding. It was a giant rock that was emitting a glowing blue color and was also red from the heat that it had from the impact.<br/><br/>"What the hell is that…"<br/><br/>"A-almana".<br/><br/>That's right, Mother!<br/><br/> I ran through the smoke and saw her body. It was a scene I was not ready for. Two lifeless bodies crushed under broken debris from the house that was destroyed by this giant rock, along with her.<br/><br/>Her lower body was crushed by the giant rock and she coughed up blood.<br/><br/>"Hey. Mother it's okay…I I'll look for help just wait okay!"<br/><br/>"A-almana its fine I don't think anybody can help at this point"<br/><br/>"Just shut up and don't speak, it'll be fine"<br/><br/>"You're even cool-headed in this urgent situation."<br/><br/>I wasn't calm at all I wanted to cry for help, I wanted to cry from the pain I felt in my head since earlier. I wanted to cry as I looked at my older brother and father's lifeless bodies.<br/><br/>But I couldn't, because if I did Mother would be scared. I had to put on a mask to hide this pain.<br/><br/>Yea, this is for the best.<br/><br/>"Almana, I'm s-sure your scared. I know your thinking of different ways to solve this but its too late. I'm s-sorry honey"<br/><br/>Mother looked at me with tearful eyes and placed her hand on my cheeks.<br/><br/>"I know that you have a sensitive heart, you find everything sad and you always put a strong face to hide it." As she continued talking she said. "H-honey it isn't a crime to be soft hearted just live happily.<br/><br/>"you've got a heart of gold, and that was enough to make me happy…"<br/><br/>My eyes started to water and my view became blurry from the tears.<br/><br/>"M-mom". I called out to her with a whimpering voice.<br/><br/>"I love you..almana".<br/><br/>Her hand slowly fell of from my face. My mother's body laid there with out moving as I called out for her and my brother and dad. No response. I fell on my knees, head to the ground screaming from all the emotions I felt.<br/><br/> Despair. The one of the countless feeling I felt.<br/><br/>I wanted to rip the skin of my bones. I wanted to be in there place instead. If I could go back- no if only I knew this was going to happen I would sacrifice my life for them. But it din't turn out that way.<br/><br/>I looked at the ground hopelessly. They aren't dead right? I'm sure they're just unconscious due to the loss of blood, right?<br/><br/>"Come on Father, wake up….look, the squid is on the floor, you need to take better care of yourself old man."<br/><br/>"Brother you too get up and help me pick this up."<br/><br/>"…"<br/><br/>"M-mother could you tell them off they aren't listening, Mom!"<br/><br/><br/>***<br/><br/>I called out to the for a very long time, and no one woke up.<br/><br/>Today we all died together as a Family, just three of us physically and one of us mentally…<br/><br/>I got up and wobbled towards the half-destroyed kitchen and grabbed a knife. I didn't want to live anymore I want to be with the people I loved. The people I lived for.. my family.<br/><br/>How bad could it hurt right? I'm already dead anyways.<br/><br/>I pulled the knife away from me then stabbed my throat. I fell to the ground and blood started pouring out of my neck. My body slowly fell into shock and my vision blacked out. The last thing I could think of was my family.<br/><br/>…<br/><br/>[ You have died ]<br/><br/>"Huh". the world slowly turned pitch black and I started to fade away.<br/><br/>[You have acquired a unique skill].<br/><br/>[ Immortality ].<br/><br/>…<br/><br/>[ skill has been activated ].<br/><br/>[ Your body will be regenerated in a short period of time, please wait ].<br/><br/>***<br/><br/>I slowly woke up and saw the night sky, I was confused. Did I go to heaven?. " Mother, Father, Brother!"<br/><br/>I quickly got up and saw the scenery I had seen before I "died". Three dead bodies, a giant rock and a bunch of fire.<br/><br/>"This cant be I swear I killed my self". I quickly pulled out my phone from my pocket and turned on the camera.<br/><br/>"This can't be" I muttered to myself while my fingers touched the scar that was left on my neck.<br/><br/>[ Accumulated pain you had before regeneration is being transferred back into your body again ].<br/><br/>"What the hell" . Shortly after a heart wrenching pain came over me and I screamed from the pain.<br/><br/>I gasped for air as I laid on the ground with my hands spread out. <br/><br/>I stared at the night sky and spoke. "This isn't what I wanted". <br/><br/>I was lost in thought until I heard a cracking sound I turned towards it and it was coming from the giant rock. The closer I looked at it, I noticed it had the shape of a star you draw as a kid…. It suddenly made more cracking sounds and it started to show too.<br/><br/>Out of nowhere small fingers where shown coming out of it, later on the small hands fully emerged, soon more tiny hands where shown coming up from the cracks of the `star'. Following along whit there bodies. They where the size of toilet paper, and where white as snow with no face or clothing, but they did have a humanoid body. <br/><br/>"What the…"</p>
