"You're saying that Arcueid Brunestud is even stronger now than she was before she came to this city?"
In the burning Misaki Town, where buildings were engulfed in flames and the entire town had become a blazing inferno, Ciel raced forward at a speed like the wind along a street, exclaiming in shock to Fang Li beside her.
"Isn't that True Ancestor still injured?"
As she spoke, Ciel casually threw a sword-like nail in front of her, piercing several roaring Dead Apostles that were charging at her, sending them flying and pinning them dead to the ground.
Meanwhile, Fang Li followed leisurely beside Ciel, his figure resembling a stream of light, barely touching the ground as he charged forward. Without so much as a glance at Ciel, he calmly replied.
"Actually, Arcueid's injuries haven't fully healed yet. She's still in a weakened state, and her strength hasn't been restored to even half of what it was," Fang Li said. "But even so, Arcueid is stronger now than she was before she came to this city. At the very least, she's not any weaker than she was back then."
It was a very simple calculation.
Before coming to this city, Arcueid was in her prime, but due to her Vampiric Impulses, most of her power was used for suppression, leaving her able to wield only a portion of her strength.
If we assume that Arcueid used about 70% of her power to suppress the Vampiric Impulses, then she was only able to use 30% of her full power before she was killed.
Even with only 30% of her power, Arcueid could still wipe out the fallen True Ancestors and strike fear into the hearts of all the Dead Apostles. She could effortlessly deal with even the high-ranking Dead Apostles of the Twenty-seven Ancestors, showcasing her immense strength.
However, after being killed, Arcueid lost a significant portion of her power to resurrect herself.
If we assume this loss to be the same 70%, then Arcueid would only have 30% of her power left to suppress Vampiric Impulses, which originally required 70% of her power.
Naturally, she couldn't manage it, which led to her struggling even against lesser Dead Apostles. When she saw Fang Li's blood, the Vampiric Impulses broke free, further weakening her.
In this state, it was impossible for Arcueid to defeat Ciel, resulting in her being almost one-sidedly suppressed in their battle.
"But now Arcueid no longer needs to use her power to suppress the Vampire Impulses. She can fully unleash the power she has left," Fang Li explained. "So even if she can only use 30% of her power now, it's still comparable to her power when she first arrived in this town."
In this state, Arcueid may not have reached her Second-Tier potential, but she should still be able to wield the power of a Third-Tier Peak Powerhouse.
With this level of power, even Fang Li would find it difficult to defeat Arcueid without going all out.
"As for Roa, even after absorbing some of Nrvnqsr's power and recovering to a high-ranking Dead Apostle level, plus the blessing of this Otherworldly Demonic City, he's still only on par with the Twenty-seven Ancestors. He may be stronger than the tenth-ranked Nrvnqsr, but he's still no match for Arcueid."
Fang Li confidently told Ciel, "Roa probably thought that Arcueid would still have to use most of her power to suppress her Vampire Impulses, and that given her weakened state, he could easily capture her.
But in reality, although Arcueid's power hasn't fully recovered, without the need to suppress her Vampiric Impulses, she isn't someone that a mere Dead Apostle could contend with.
"He misjudged his own abilities and underestimated his opponent's. That trickster has really turned this into a clownish farce".
Fang Li's speed hadn't slowed down at all and he was still rushing forward like a streak of light, ignoring the Dead Apostles roaring and lunging at him from all sides as he spoke in a mocking tone.
"If it weren't for the fact that he also stole part of Arcueid's power, and that his knowledge of Magecraft isn't bad, allowing him to create this Other World-like Demonic City, he probably would have been killed by now, right?"
Hearing this, Ciel fell silent. After a moment, she spoke in a low voice.
"So, does this mean that the True Ancestor should be able to kill Roa of this generation?"
Hearing Ciel's words, Fang Li shook his head.
"No, I don't think so."
Saying this, Fang Li raised his head and looked up at the night sky beyond the great Magecraft formation.
There was a full moon shining up there.
"Tonight is a full moon, which has raised Roa's immortality to its peak. And due to this Demonic City, his power keeps getting stronger. It won't be easy to kill him," Fang Li analysed calmly. "Besides, even though Arcueid's power isn't any weaker now than it was before she came to this town, her injuries haven't healed completely. This might slightly affect her fighting ability.
After all, the part of her that was killed by the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception couldn't be fully restored. Even though Arcueid reversed her death with her immense power, making a complete recovery isn't something easily done.
"Besides, while Roa underestimated Arcueid's strength, Arcueid might also underestimate Roa's strength."
Fang Li concluded, "There's a good chance that Arcueid could be caught off guard in the end due to a lack of information.
After all, Arcueid doesn't know.
She doesn't know that Roa has gained new power in this lifetime.

"Clink..."
With a crisp sound, debris fell from the air, and hit the marble floor and rolled away.
This was inside a skyscraper.
Judging by the structure, it seemed to be some kind of shopping mall.
However, this mall had drastically changed in appearance.
The entire ceiling of the mall had disappeared, and it was as if it had collapsed, leaving an open view of the sky.
The top of the skyscraper, including several floors along with the roof, seemed to have been blown to pieces and turned into a pile of rubble that filled the entire mall.
It looked as if the whole skyscraper had been shaved off, making for a terrifying sight.
Amidst the ruins of the mall, Arcueid grabbed Roa by the neck and lifted him in front of her.
Roa's head was hanging low, his expression hidden, but his condition was miserable.
Half of his body seemed to have been blown off, leaving him a bloody mess.
Blood continued to drip down from his body.
With Roa in her grip, Arcueid's gaze remained filled with terrifying pressure as she whispered coldly.
"Die..."
Like a declaration before striking, Arcueid wasted no more words with Roa. She raised her hand once more.
At that moment, Roa suddenly lifted his head.
"Chii...!"
A knife appeared in his hand, seemingly out of nowhere. With a sharp cutting sound, Roa swung it at Arcueid.
