2. Introduction

Shortly after Damien finished eating he ran upstairs like a little kid to his room as he couldn't wait to play the new game.

Entering his room he looked at a digital clock on the table, fearing that he might have missed the introduction.

"Thank goodness. There's still time, but I can't wait".

He looked at the white capsule that had LED lines on the outside that looked like some alien technology. This was his weekly savings so it better be worth it.

He walked over to the capsule and pushed the lid open.

It was like a drawer that will pull to open, drag to close.

The inside of the capsule had a white leather layer that was for laying down. It looked extremely soft.

Damien sniffed the new capsule smell hard.

"Ahh... Smells like new."

He hoped into the capsule hurriedly and slid the lid close.

*Beep beep*

[Scan complete]

He heard a robotic voice from inside the capsule and the inside lit up. The sides li up white light as virtual screens appeared in front of him.

The inside of the capsule was on a whole new level, it was pure white and very soft for the comfort of their customer and on the side was the company's logo 'Mavins Tech' written in black. There was a transparent screen showing that he should choose the game he wants to play.

Damien didn't waste any time and just replied, "Load."

Another screen popped up as the previous one went off.

The technology nowadays is extremely advanced. Things like flying cars, virtual screens and cyber bikes all existed. And virtual games has reached a new level where only mental strength is needed to play.

Damien is a game addict and has played a lot of games and since his brother works in a game company, there is no shortage of games in his life.

Hell, you could even say that games was his life.

He didn't know what he will do without games.

'Speaking of games. My school will resume first semester tomorrow'

"*Sigh*...I hate school." he said in a low tone.

School is just a place where you'll meet annoying people and normal people and... In short, all kinds of people were found in a school.

The only part that Damien doesn't like was the reading part. So stressful and tiring, but he still survives it though.

"School... Don't enter my head. I want to play this game."

He removed the thought of school from his mind as he looked at the screen.

A preview was being shown about the game features so Damien proceeded to listen.

To Damien time it was as if time wanted him to suffer. With every second his heart was beating more and more with excitement.

'It's almost like hours to me'. The countdown then finished after the few seconds.

{World Domination Online has been released. Close eyes to enter full dive mode.}

Damien closed his eyes as his consciousness got transferred into the machine.

When he closed his eyes his body got a cold wave spread all around his body, sweeping his body as his consciousness got transferred into the game.

It was a very nostalgic and weird feeling and he didn't even want to open his eyes.

"Are you going to close your eyes all day?"

"Huh?"

Damien opened his eyes to see a little light floating in front of him.

He gazed around and was shocked at his surroundings. It was as if he was floating in space with all the stars and asteroids, but he could not see any planet.

It looked so real and it felt real alsi as he wasn't standing on anything.

The next second a small fairy flew in front of him in form of the light that he ignored earlier.

[Hello, I am the system fairy and I am here to introduce the world of lunaria and the system and nature of the game. If you have any questions hold it till the end of the explanation] the fairy said as she flashed a cute smile at him.

"Okay" Damien nodded at the little fairy.

[The nature of this game is like a challenge, or you can call it a second life.

You can choose to be a normal person and you can also choose to be in the spotlight, getting status and becoming powerful.

You are not the best or the strongest you are just another person. Every player is required to reach a certain level in towns to advance into bigger and more difficult kingdoms or empires, and also for every level there will be rewards, either in game currency or materials.]

[ The in game currencies are bronze coins, silver coins, gold coins and Crystal bars, each is of higher value than the other]

She then swiped her hand and in the next second the four currencies materialised out of thin air and he was noting his questions down.

The coins were just circular while the crystal bars on the other hand, kite shaped and was transparent.

[In this game there are different forms of energy such as mana, Beast mana, world energy, mage pond and some others....]

Damien was listening to everything she was saying so as not to miss anything out.

His brain was like a magnet, absorbing all the information rapidly.

Damien silently nodded his head.

"What am I supposed to do when I get to the village?"

"What about the NPCs?"

The fairy looked at him confused as to why he wants to know about the NPCs.

Damien really hoped that all the NPCs were not only limited to a few worlds like the previous game he played.

[The NPCs we're created with a shuffled A.I to give them different characteristics]

"An AI!" He muttered in shock.

It's not like there wasn't AIs on earth but they were rare. And now that he's hearing that EVERY NPC has a shuffled AI he was beyond bewildered.

"I have no more questions"

And in the next second a screen appeared in front of him, showing his beginning stats and information.
