Chapter 31 - Death Is Weak. Past Is A Bitch

Eric's POV:

While I’m trying to get her back to life, she opens her eyes wide and takes a deep-deep breath.

“Selena! Baby? Are you OK?” I’m feeling her face and having her in my arms.

“Don’t ever do this to me again! Do you hear me? My love. Please.” I’m crying on her, having her in my arms.

“I’m OK, Satan… I’m OK…” She’s keeping her hand on my arm, having a labored breath but not trembling. Just weak.

I take her face with my right hand and make her look into my teary eyes.

“Angel? I love you. Please accept that. You are hurting yourself with your stubbornness. I’m not a player with you.”

“Whatever… I need water… Give me water… Cold water… Please…” She’s getting some color into her cheeks.

Rick and the hotel’s doctor arrive.

“Eric? The doctor is here.”

“I don’t need a doctor. I need water. Cold. Now.” She motions her hand to send the doctor away and to bring her water.

I signal Rick to get the water.
