[ Sage's POV]

All was dark and quiet, and I felt my body floating mid-air, but I couldn't tell if I was floating mid-air or if I was trapped in a space of nothingness.

"Is this what the spiritual realm looks like?" I asked myself, I turned in all directions, if there was even a direction and my instructor was nowhere to be seen.

She had promised to show up, but I didn't get a glimpse of her. All of a sudden, I felt myself being pulled downwards like by a suction force and my heart skipped a beat.

"What is happening!" I tried to yell, but I couldn't hear my voice.

Slowly, the force kept pulling me down and I was unable to struggle, There was nothing to grab onto but the space around me, and even if there was, I couldn't see anything.

After a minute of fruitless struggle, I closed my eyes in defeat and accepted my faith, only because I believed that the goddess or my instructor knew what they were doing.
