|Gwyndolin A. Cunningham - Heir to Cunningham Family|
"This is the Apothecary where we sell and make our potion."
Jullian and I showed Catharina around the city. Currently, I show her the apothecary to her and just how many potions we need to distribute to other Southern Nobles.
"Oh! What kind of potion is that?"
"Hmmm? Oh! Currently, we are making a general healing potion."
"General Healing Potion?"
"Hmmm… How should I explain this… Our body is composed of something called cells–"
"I know what a cell is."
Oh? Does she know about it? I don't think it was something this world knew about. Even the healer did not know how their healing spell worked. They only say that it was the work of the gods.
Well, whatever.
"I see. Anyway, this potion increases the regeneration of the cell and increases the flow of the blood. That means it was a perfect potion to be used in battle. Sadly, this potion cannot be used too much. Too many potions will result in something called Cellular Death."
Mom already tested this potion. It looks like the potions made by people of this world will have a different effect than the ones created by a player or any summoned creature from Second Life. The potions I created will not have a negative or even a positive effect if used in many quantities.
I don't know the reason why but it happened.
"I see. That is a rather steep price to pay, don't you think?"
"What pay? The potion is safe to consume as long as you do not consume more than three potions in a matter of an hour. You can drink it once more after two hours of not drinking the potion."
"I see. I guess that is good enough. However, that side effect is still not good in my opinion."
"Of course. That is why we are still doing an experiment to see if we can remove the side effects."
Mother and a dozen of other people are busy experimenting with the potion to see if they can remove the side effect and make it a better potion.
"Can I explore this building?"
"Sure. Follow the alchemist's instructions and you should be good."
"Of course."
I nod my head and see her walk away from me to see all kinds of potions in the building. While waiting for her, I can see Jullian walk toward me and says.
"Young master."
"Hmmm? What is it, Jullian?"
"Are you going to be betrothed to her?"
"Hmmm? I don't think so. My mother will try her best to make us closer but I don't think her scheme will result in anything. Northern and Southern nobles are too different for us to unite."
However, I must admit that Catharina is a good candidate. She is smart, curious and beautiful.
She has short black hair and blue eyes that shine with knowledge a young woman like her should not have. She is 150cm tall, a good height for a young woman her age. The only thing she did not have was prestige. Her family comes from a barony family, the lowest noble rank in the kingdom.
This kingdom has a rank, and a Count is way above her family rank. The rank is from Baron -> Viscount -> Earl -> Count -> Marquess -> Duke / Prince / Princess -> Queen -> King.
The northern nobles might not want to marry their son to a two-rank noble below them, but we did not really care. My parents will do it if it is a good match. Oh, well.
"I see. I think she is a nice woman, young master."
"Me too, Jullian. She is a great woman but all of it falls on my parent's hands."

|Catharina von Xenotra - Heiress of Baron Xenotra|
How? How can they do this? This never happens in the game. In the game, the southern army did not have a great healer to heal their soldiers. Because of this, as long as the player can hold their ground against the relentless attack from the south, they can win the war.
However, I never heard of a play where the south has something that can heal their soldiers! That would be too broken!
How the fuck can I fight that?! No! I cannot think like that. I think I can still prevent this from happening. That's right. The game never says the reason why the southern noble declares war against the northern nobles.
There must be a way to prevent war. I cannot just assume war is inevitable. However, I also need to prepare in case it still happens.
Argh! It gets even more complicated! I shake my head and get back to the first floor. When I get back to the first floor, I can see Gwyndolin playing with the children. This is the first time I have seen him smiling like that.
The smile that genuine and kind smile. It was a contrast different from the one he had when I played the game. There, he has a cold and bloodthirsty smile. The smile only a murderer has after they kill their victim.
That is a smile that a murderer should not have… His glare still disturbs me, though.
"Ah, Lady Catharina."
Jullian greeted me with a smile he should not have. I really need to search for the trigger event that starts the war.
"Jullian, right?"
"Yes! My name is Jullian, my lady!"
"Fufufu. Please call me Catharina, Jullian."
"I can't do that, my lady! I'm the son of a commoner! I cannot call you anything but a lady."
I smile at him and nod my head. This is not the Jullian I know. Jullian, I know, is an arrogant person who looks down on the northern people because we never enter a war or battle. He is the sword of Gwyndolin that will protect him and kill anyone on his master's way.
This man is not that Jullian, not yet.
I will ensure the war never comes and know where to investigate first.
I need to start in the north, the city where many events are happening in the game. The city of Dragontown, the capital city.
