Chapter44-Investigative Visit

"Are you the former head of the Snowland orphanage?"

Henry sat across from an elderly man with a full head of silver hair.

The man, wearing reading glasses and looking frail, seemed to tremble all over, clearly not far from his last days.

The old man adjusted his glasses and, covering his mouth, coughed twice before nodding.

"Yes, that's me. What do you need? I've been retired from there for many years. If you've found some orphans you want to send there, I can give you their current phone number."

As he spoke, the man began to rummage in his pocket for his phone to give Henry the number.

"No, actually, I came to see you."

Henry smiled, realizing the old man hadn't been out for so long that he didn't even recognize him as the newly appointed king.
