The people sent by Guy escorted them and handle all the jobs to register Nine and Ten. They were so fast that even Ruby was left in her place stunned. By the end of the day, Nine and Ten's new identifications were finished.

The twins couldn't move their eyes from the identification paper, stubbornly staring at a particular section written on it.

In order to create a new identity, Ruby lamented how simple the name of the twins.

Therefore, Ruby recommended the names that has been in her mind for as early as she knew the twins.

She looked at Nine and said, "Noah."

Then she turned to Ten, calling him, "Oliver."

Ruby tilted her head and asked with a playful tone, "How about it?"

The children kept mum, pretending that they didn't understand anything. Their heads were lowered and the tip of their ears was red from shyness.

Even though it sounded weird, the echoes of Ruby's voice calling them distinctly slid through their ears, pouring a bucket of warm water into their hearts.

Tenderly scratching the cold winter to bring summer within the dry land.

'Cute' Ruby murmured inwardly.

This time, it wasn't Oliver who responded. Instead, Noah complained discontentedly, "Noisy."

Ruby's laughter rang making Noah's ears burn more brightly than before.

Oliver felt the need to save his brother's face, so he butted in sharply, "Hurry and get it over with!"

Ruby offhandedly tossed the problem to Guy's people who had been standing by, waiting for her cue.

She thoughtfully ignored how the twins avoided her eyes. Seeing none of them objected, Ruby went forward with the name she chose.

When the actual paper came onto her hands, Ruby felt a little bit surreal but she patted her chest to control her pounding heart.

They were newbies in relationship departments, so everyone was doing their best to put a nonchalant expression while they were chatting as if nothing important happened.

They didn't notice it, but the bodyguards staying beside them could see how alike their behavior was. It was like they were carved from the same mold.

The next day, they arrived at the airport and were driven back to the apartment.

Ruby easily went along with the flow because she thought that was it. However, even until they stopped right in front of the apartment door, the bodyguards didn't leave.

Ruby's head instantly ached. She glanced at them, signaling everyone to leave her sight, but nobody heed her command.

The captain of the bodyguards bowed slightly before finally showing the message he got from Guy, which clearly told them to stay put and helped Ruby in every way they can.

Ruby frowned unhappily, "No need. Go back and tell him not to meddle in my life any more than necessary."

The bodyguards didn't budge. They steadfastly disperse in an orderly manner, some took a position around Ruby's apartments' door, some went to the apartment next door.

Ruby: "...."

Oliver wondered out loud, "Isn't it good to let them be?"

"No."

Can you see it with your own eyes, which one of these men actually "guard" them? Wasn't it more like monitoring them?

Ruby didn't know what kind of consequences there was from her adopting children outside Heather's family. Maybe that's why Guys was trying to find out what is exactly happening with her before passing out the edict to condemn her?

Thinking carefully, the things she did after crossing over to this world was ridiculous, and wasn't prepared.

Kind of absurd.

Who wouldn't wonder whether she's sane or not?

It was surprising that Guy still lend her a hand.

Oliver was confused, his intelligence wasn't that high. thinking with his brain wasn't his specialty Playing with people's feelings was his true strong point.

After all, you don't really need a brain to perform in theater as long as you can read your opponent like the back of your hand.
