Chapter 1 (Prologue)

Between the illuminated streets of America, dominated by giant screens that control the skyscrapers, inside one of the clubs that stood out in the heart of New York City.

Inside the club, bodies of women moved left and right, while money and red faces from excessive drinking were thrown around.

On the second floor, a luxurious room overlooking the entire club below, Noah sat, the first-class that few people in the world could afford. He looked down at the people below, swaying to the rhythm of the music, with a disdainful gaze.

Surrounding him on the circular, long couch, directly in front of him, sat another person. To his right, a beautiful girl sat, enchanting, resembling a piece of red crystal, exuding an ethereal aura. Her name was Jane.

Noah finally lifted his gaze and looked at the man in front of him, speaking with a slight smile.

"Mr. Cheng, I hope you enjoy the merchandise I sent you."

Cheng smiled, his face displaying a vulgar expression, satisfied with the girl in front of him.

"Yes, these Eastern girls have a natural talent for certain things," he spoke in broken English.

Noah smiled briefly, leaning slightly toward the man in front of him, and gave a subtle signal with his hand. The man bowed and quickly lowered the curtain, dimming the place slightly.

Noah spoke with a smiling face, "Mr. Cheng, it seems our gathering should come to an end soon."

Mr. Cheng glanced at Noah, then pointed with his eyes to the Chinese man standing behind him.

He spoke in Chinese, and the man nodded in response directly to Cheng. He brought a small bag, barely enough for a few documents, while the man next to Noah also brought a larger bag several times, placing it on the table.

Cheng spoke in a robotic Chinese to the man next to him, "Be prepared; I don't trust these Westerners. They are deceitful."

The man didn't react, but he moved his hand closer to his weapon.

Noah's expression was very relaxed. Jane, whose name was mentioned earlier, changed her position slightly.

At the same time, Noah and Cheng opened the bags. The small bag contained only one document written in Chinese, while the larger bag contained a large bundle of money, with each bill being a hundred dollars.

Cheng's expression was very satisfied. He began to laugh loudly.

"Very good, Mr. Noah, very good."

"I'm pleased to do business with you. I hope for more dealings between us in the future."

Noah nodded in response to Cheng's words. Cheng wasn't bothered by Noah's cold reaction; he was satisfied. He kissed Jane and then glanced at Noah, who didn't move except for a slight nod.

Jane laid down on the expensive couch and sighed. She took out the knives hidden under her wrist and placed them on a table near the document bag that Cheng brought. She cast a curious glance at the bag.

She said, "I paid a lot of money for this thing."

"It's worth it," Noah replied, the artificial smile disappearing from his face, replaced by an expression as cold and emotionless as iron.

Jane noticed Noah reading the valuable document. The bag contained only one paper.

Curiosity choked her. She wanted to forcefully take the paper from Noah and see what was inside, something that could be worth billions of dollars.

Of course, she didn't dare to do so.

After Noah finished reading the precious paper, he paused for several minutes, lost in thought. He sighed a little, looking at Jane in front of him.

"Summon them. We will go to China."

Jane bowed.
