"Sensei, would I be able to meet with Naruto before going on the mission?" After the meeting of the clan heads and the Hokage was over, Jiraiya asked Hiruzen when they arrived in his office.
"Definitely. But better yet, I think you should take him with you to bring back Tsunade. He might be helpful. He does after all look like her younger brother. He might be helpful in convincing her to come back." Hiruzen said with a thoughtful look, looking at the vast village underneath his office, his mind thinking about all the mistakes that he made.
"I wonder how Naruto is doing. I haven't seen him in person ever since he was born. Is he just as amazing as the reports say he is?" Jiraiya asked, his wild mane of white hair moving as he tilted his head.
"I believe the boy is even more amazing than what the reports say. Just looking at him, I can see that he hides a lot of strength behind that calm, playful and innocent look of his.
When I saw his mission reports, he was able to pick up things that would be very hard to notice if they were just ordinary genin. While his body isn't up to the level of a jonin, his mind sure is. It may even be higher than both you and me, we would never know, just because he hides so well.
But he definitely needs a lot more experience. Just the way he hides things becomes a bit obvious after a while. I believe, he still thinks that I think he's a small little boy, but I know for a fact he's incredible.
His eyes, they are too intelligent to be that of a naïve and innocent young boy." Hiruzen commented with a blissful smile, recalling all the interactions he had with the child.
All the while, Jiraiya listened attentively, his habit developed from being a master spy picking up the core points the old man was trying to communicate.
"Is he like his father or mother?" Jiraiya asked.
"I believe it would be best if you met with him yourself. After all, he is your godson isn't he." Hiruzen just smiled, causing Jiraiya to recall the fact, who smiled too, hiding a bit of sadness and guilt behind it.
"Yeah. I think it's finally time I meet up with my godson." With that, Jiraiya walked out of the office and headed out to find a little ball of golden-haired sunshine.
"Naruto, keep going. Just two more laps, let's go. Let's go." Hiroki shouted inside Naruto's mind, who watched the boy struggle to complete laps around the village, all the while enjoying Inception in 4D.
"ugh. Why don't you come out here and do what these laps too? Maybe then you'll understand how much of a pain it is." Naruto grumbled to himself, cursing Hiroki mentally.
"You know, I am making you struggle now so that you can reach the peak of your life, and finally have one less person living in your head." Hiroki retorted, to which Naruto just replied with a 'hn'.
"Damn, did the Indra chakra make you fluent in the Uchiha clan's language?" Hiroki chortled, while he experienced Leo DiCaprio drop down to the third level of a dream.
"Hey, there kid. What are you doing running around here?" While Naruto was struggling to complete the final lap around the village, a middle-aged man with long and spiky white hair stopped the kid and asked.
"Training, obviously. Why else would I run laps around the village?" Naruto explained between breaths as if it were the most obvious conclusion.
'Don't stall for time. Keep going, just half a lap left.' Hiroki yelled out as he stuffed popcorn in his mouth, not that he could eat. He just liked the feeling of popcorn on his tongue when he watched movies and tv shows.
"I gotta go. B-bye." Hearing Hiroki, Naruto bowed goodbye and went back to complete his lap.
"What a strange boy. He really is dedicated to training himself. But why is he tried after just running around the village?" Jiraiya asked himself as he followed the boy.
"Done!! Finally." Naruto yelled out tiredly as he lay down on the cool grass by the lake, pumping his fists at completing today's training.
"Well done, Naruto. You completed 50 laps around the village with the 49th level of the restriction seal. Tomorrow, we bump up the seal to the 50th level, before we have to change the sealing formula on your body, alright." Hiroki ordered as Naruto continued to revolve his chakra, his fatigued muscles crying out in joy at getting the much-needed energy boost and healing.
"Hey, paedophilic pervert. Are you done stalking?" From behind the trees and dense bushes, Naruto's voice sounded out, as a clone held a sword pointed at the white-haired man's throat.
"Ahem. If you must call me a pervert, I would prefer it to be something other than paedophilic. I'm not into little boys, though I do know someone who is.
No. I would prefer to call myself the Super Pervert, with ninja skills that know no bounds." The man ignored the sword against his neck while thrusting his hands up and announcing loudly.
"Let me guess? Jiraiya of the Sannin, master of the Konoha Spy Network, Teacher of the Fourth Hokage, Student of the Third Hokage, a potential candidate for the Fifth Hokage position, but denied the personal request made by the Third Hokage, Fuinjutsu Master, the Toad Sage, The Village's Madness, Perverted Hermit, Author of the Icha-Icha series, Author of the Make-out Tactics, hmm.. what else." Naruto put his finger to his chin in thought as he looked at the clouds passing by, announcing the titles of the man loudly. All the while, Jiraiya felt pride at having his titles announced out loud.
"Oh, yeah. My bloody Godfather that left me rotting in an orphanage, not even once checking up on me." Naruto suddenly looked at the proud man, who instantly deflated, and looked at the boy with surprise.
"You knew?" He asked in barely a whisper.
"Yeah, I knew" Naruto sneered as he stood up, and began to remove his clothes to go for a swim in the cool lake water.
SPLASH
"So, what did you come here for? Is it just to catch up with your godson, or do you have a mission from the Hokage?" Naruto asked as he soaked his fatigued body in the water.
"A bit of both. The old man gave me a mission, and I thought this might be a good chance for me to introduce myself to you, but it seems you already know who I am." Jiraiya looked down guiltily, afraid to meet the eyes of the boy he disappointed.
"What's the mission?"
"Since you know who I am, you should know who Tsunade is as well?" Jiraiya, happy to keep the conversation going, jumped on the opportunity.
"Legendary Sucker. Legendary Medic, current hemophiliac, intense gambler, loses almost all the time Tsunade, the Last Senju, Granddaughter of the First, Grandniece of the Second, Student of the Third, Student of Mito Uzumaki, and many more. Yeah, I know who she is." Naruto replied, listing the bingo book verbatim.
"Yeah, that's her, alright. Well, we are going on a mission to bring her back to the village." Jiraiya chuckled, impressed at his godson's ability.
"And what makes you so sure that she wants to come back. She left for a reason; you know."
"And that's why this mission is given to me, and not a random Jonin. So, want to come with?" Jiraiya smirked and asked.
"Oi, Naruto. Go and meet with Tsunade. She is one of the best medics in the world. Learn from her about genetics and the sort, you will need a proper master for that. While I can give you all my knowledge, it is still limited based on what you currently have access to.
She will be able to get you access to so many high-level books, that I can once more compile another flawless book. That way, you get another boost in your arsenal." Hiroki called out from inside Naruto's mind, as Naruto adopted a thinking pose.
'Also, then Naruto can build me a flawless body, even if gets the Rinnegan. I don't want to look like those abominations Hagoromo created. Shudder.' Hiroki thought to himself silently.
"Alright, ero-sennin. I'll come with you. When are we leaving?" Naruto accepted the request, as he considered Hiroki's words.
"As soon as you can." Jiraiya smiled, happy that he will get to spend some time with the kid.

Alright. And that is the last chapter for this week.
I have decided to adopt a release schedule, since I usually come back late for work, and don't get too much time to write the books. Also, from the next week Uni starts back again, so I will be pressed for time even more.
I will post a chapter a day on weekdays, and create a stockpile for the next week on the weekend.
If I am late in posting a chapter, it would usually mean that I came home late that day and didn't find a chance to publish the chapter, but don't worry. It is highly likely I will post the chapter the next morning for my dear readers.
Enjoy!
