BAB 12

"Hey, what's that?"

"Isn't that a dragon?"

"No, like its a Godzalla."

"There's no Godzalla with wings and a long neck."

"But, wait, is there an event going on?"

The people on the streets were confused by the appearance of the dragon in the sky.

"This is now no longer covered. How am I supposed to ease the panic? I thought it was a Wivren, but it's much bigger and I'm pretty sure it's a dragon."

I used [Air Walk] to quickly head towards where the dragon was.

Seeing the dragon cross the sky at night, their reactions varied. Some thought it was just a reflection of light. Some doubted their eyes. There were those who felt excited or satisfied from seeing the dragon. As for the dragon itself, it stared at the people below for several minutes. After feeling their gaze the dragon slowly raised its head and took a breath of air.

"Damn, I won't have time. There will be many casualties if I don't hurry."

Increasing my speed, I moved faster and tried to get close to the dragon before something terrible happened.

After taking in enough air, at that moment the dragon stared at the group of people. The dragon lifted its head up at that moment, giant red flames came out of its mouth straight ahead as a pillar of fire appeared in the sky. The dark sky then became reddish, sweeping away the clouds nearby.

"This is beyond my expectations. I thought the dragon would spout its fire breath into the crowd. It's as if it wants to show its invincibility."

Flapping its wings and showing its mighty figure in the sky.

The people who were busy before fell silent, having witnessed something that happened right before their eyes.

"Kyyyyaaaaaaaaa!!!"

"What the hell was that?"

"Run for your lives!!!"

"We'll die if he directs his breath towards us."

They all panicked and confusedly ran away.

"I can't blame them after what they saw."

As I said that and looked at the situation in the city. The dragon made a terrifying roar.

"Stop thinking! Right now I have to finish off this dragon before the government acts. But before that I have to disguise my identity."

Using the shadow skill I covered my body with a cloak-like shadow and a head covering.

When I was 40 meters away from the dragon. The dragon noticed me and glared at me.

"Ordinary skills won't work for you but how about this [Lighting Lace]."

A large spear appeared above me and moved towards the dragon's chest. Noticing my attack, the dragon used its wings to dodge it. Not letting it escape I threw many of my skills at the dragon.

"[Wind Slash] [Lighting Strike] [Dragon Breath] [WhirlWind]."

I was quite amazed, the dragon skillfully dodged my attacks with its wings.

While it was impressed with the dragon, it was the dragon's turn to attack. Exhaling its breath towards me, it barely had time to dodge its breath. I used the [Guard] skill to protect myself. Even so, the dragon continued to blow its breath without stopping.

"If it continues like this my defense won't be strong."

The situation was completely reversed at the moment. Trying to find an opening to attack the dragon. I disabled the [Air Walk] skill and let myself fall. Dumbfounded by my sudden action. I used a skill.

"[Sparkling Star]."

A dazzling light blinds the eyes.

Using that opportunity I attacked the dragon.

"[Storm Arrows]."

Releasing ten arrows at once towards the dragon.

"Gyyyyaaaaaaa!!!"

Hit by the attack, the dragon fell to the ground and writhed in pain. As I approached the dragon, it swung its tail trying to fight back. I dodged its attack though. Not stopping there, the dragon spit out its breath. If I let my guard down a little I'll be hit by an attack that will make me critical.

"Hey!!! Even though it didn't hit me. Your fire dragon still feels very hot."

Using the [Chain Wending] skill at full power. I created a large chain and bound the dragon's body so that it wouldn't move. Trying to open its mouth.

"It's time to end this [Light Wall]."

A light shone around the dragon's body and myself like a huge wall. Attacking it was pointless with its tough skin, I just wanted to weaken it and tire it out.

"You can't escape anymore. I will destroy your tough skin. [Soil Melter]."

Using that skill with my full remaining energy. There was no time to do anything. I made the dragon's skin shatter into pieces and become particles of light. Where the dragon had previously fallen, there was a huge crack mark. I unceremoniously cut off the dragon's head.

"[Wind Slash]."

Since its tough skin was gone, I cut off its head with ease.

"No matter how you look at it, I know. That dragon is still immature."

The dragon's body then turned into particles of light.

"It's finally over, but I have to clean up the chaos and panic that exists within the city. What is the situation? Has the news gotten out of the country?"

As I thought that, a blue light suddenly illuminated the entire sky, a light so dazzling that it made my eyes hurt. As the light dimmed I felt something strange.

"What just happened?"

Running towards the direction of the city, I heard something I didn't expect.

"Hey! Why am I here? Wasn't I inside the hotel?"

"What happened? Why am I running around outside?"

"Why am I crying?"

"Why are you hugging me?"

Everyone in the city was saying strange things.

"What happened? I felt a big tremor. Is there an earthquake?"

They all said the strange things they felt. However, no one was talking about the appearance of dragons or discussing lizard-like monsters. I even asked someone and that person was confused by my question.

One by one, questions started to come to my head, like running water.

"Really? Doesn't everyone remember what just happened?"

"I don't understand. What's really going on in this world?"
