Chp 69 : Dont Forget Me

[phew I thought I was gonna get caught! That window is so fucking squeaky]

[Tex : Get back to the bed quickly! Or you'll get caught for real this time!]

Siun went to the bed where Elena was sleeping and couldn't help but stare at hear with pity

[This woman in her prime, about to get a golden opportunity to join the royal knights will have to struggle harder than others just because of me...] He said as he reached towards her arm

[Tex : Don't touch her no matter how tempting it is, you'll wake her up and we will be screwed]

[Don't you feel sad? Or are you just a system without emotions? Was our conversation on the roof just my imagination?]

[Tex : I don't have any emotions, except ones related to you and my missing past]

[You have feelings towards me?] he said

[Tex : Yes of course! Most of them being anger so don't get ahead of yourself]

[Do you think you were like this with your old hosts as well?]

[Tex : I told you I don't remember anything]

[Are you going to forget me after this?]

[Tex : Maybe, who knows?]

[Are you going to have a new host after me?]

[Tex : No, the higher ups hinted to me that this will be my last. I'm told they will give me a wish after this. I can wish for anything I want!] Tex said as he swirled around in the air filled with happiness 

[Can you wish that you'll remember me? forever?]

[Tex : What kind of selfish request is that? Of course not! Are you crazy?! This is MY wish, I'm gonna wish for whatever I want!]

[I don't want to be forgotten do you not understand my feelings?!]

Their thoughts went silent, which made the silent night and the silent room feel even more eerie than it was before

[Tex : Sorry for the outburst, but you were totally in the wrong. And honestly I don't get it at all!]

There was no reply from Siun he just slid into the bed next to Elena and pulled the thin moldy sheet of blanket over himself

[Tex : Fine ignore me all you want! I'm going then, good luck!]

The cat said as it suddenly vanished into thin air as Siun nudged in even closer to Elena

[Doryu won't forget about me right? right? Yea there is no way she would forget, we made a deal... b-but what if she does forget? What's going to happen to us?] He though as he stared at Elena's missing right arm

Siun thought all night, he tossed and turned, but as lightly as he could as to not wake up Elena. 

As he was falling asleep he felt a sharp nudge at his stomach

[What the fuck... I was just about to fall asleep as well] 

He looked down to see the crimson crystal poking at him through his torn pockets

[Oh, it's this... what is this thingy anyways... Lucas's memories?]

Siun raised it up towards the ceiling to see it clearer, as the moonlight from the outside shined on it, it illuminated the room with a red tint.

His dark eyes reflected the red light, turned his eyes into a blood crimson color which gave him the appearance of demon 

[... looking at this thing makes me feel warm and fuzzy...] he mumbled in his mind

he put the crystal back into his pocket and finally fell into a deep sleep

"Hello? are you awake?" A ring voice came from inside his head

It cause Siun to wake up but once again he was in another void... It was another white void, but this time there was no floating talking cucumber

It was himself, but something was different

"Who are you? You look like me..." He asked suspiciously looking at the horns on his look-a-like's head

"Do you like these?" The look-a-like pointed his hands towards the 2 midnight horn nubs on his head "I wondered what you would look if you were a little demon so I changed your appearance to look like that of a demon!" They said with a beaming smile

"Am I dreaming right now?" Siun questioned

"Yes" They replied curtly

"What are you?"

"I'm a demon"
