Chp 28 : Deal
"You must be thinking why I want to learn how to fight... Do you see this arm?"
Elena said as she pointed to her right side
"Yes..."
"No you dont! It's gone! I lost it! All because I was too weak to protect myself! I even almost put Siun in danger, he has that head wound because of me!"
Jean was shocked by Elena's outburst
"I faced tree demons that day just like you guys... but before that day I never had any combat experience... and it was the first time I found out I wielded this much power, but then after I defeated the first tree demons three more showed up... and I lost my right arm..."
Elena told Jean her story while staring at her now gone arm.
Her story moved Jean, he had a newfound respected for Elena.

"So what is it you want from me? To teach you? I'm not very good at long ranged attacks, in fact I can't do anything long ranged that can be of significant help. But I respect your determination, I can introduce you to a good teacher"
Jean said and as he slowly got up to go back to the carriage to sleep, but he was stopped.
"No! I want to learn how to fight close distanced too! Teach me!" Elena said as she pulled and clung onto Jean's brown coat. This action slightly annoyed Jean.
"What is wrong with you?! Your a mother! Don't you have any dignity!? Also, you want to learn close combat as a Xinthri?! Look at you! You have no muscles at all!"
"Huh?! Are you refusing to teach me because im a cripple?! I can prove it! The last time I fought I used a sword!"
"You?! Wielding a sword?! I find that very hard to believe! Now stop pulling my coat, Ms. Yael gave this to me!"
Elena got even more annoyed with Jean
"I can't believe your saying that! You of all people! Your the one who got mad at me because you assumed I was making fun of you fighting close distanced! But look at you now! Your doing the same thing to me! Your a hypocrite I say!"
Jean stopped trying to get Elena off his cloak, his body froze up from what Elena just said.
[Jean : Did I really say that?... No I didn't mean to!]
"It's fine then! I don't want my teacher to be someone like you!"
Elena said as she let go of Jean's cloak and pouted, her face looked quite cute, like a moody hamster.
"I-im sorry I didn't mean it like that-... It was just in the heat of the moment... I-I'll make it up to you! Just say anything and I'll do it!"
After Elena heard Jean say that, her pouty face disappeared and was replaced with a smug grin
"Hehehe you already know what I'm gonna say!"
Jean didn't know what to do... He fell into Elena's trap. All he could do was sigh and chuckle whilst dusting off his cloak.
"Alright I'll teach you... but I don't know if im a good teacher so just keep that in mind and dont expect too much!"
"Alright teacher!"

[Siun : Tex... how many more days till we reach main Xinthri? It feels like we've been in this wagon forever!]
[Tex : We should get there by tomorrow morning... also I know that right now you are physically three years old, but is it necessary to act like one?]
[Siun : Ahhhh I can't take it anymore! Travelling in this wagon also worsens my headache and nausea...]
[Tex : Haaaaa... I admit that we have been in this cart for a long time, but the time here wasn't wasted]
[Siun : What do you mean wasn't wasted?! I'm not one bit closer to completing the task!]
[Tex : That's true, but you are developing your strength here, Yael is teaching you how to use Seux's eyes isn't she?]
[Siun : Haaah... I'll stop complaining now... By the way don't you think the atmosphere on this wagon is nice?]

[Siun : Look at everyone, they all seem to be getting a long!]
Even though Siun complain about being in a wagon, he was having a very fun time with Yael and his parents and he got to know more about Yael, Karter and Jean.
The time he spent chatting with his new friends made the time past by in a flash... and before you knew it, it was night time
