Chp 23 : Yael Lyle

"So what are your names? We might as well become good friends during this 5 day trip" Yael said in a cheerful tone

"My name is Silas and my wife's name is Elena and our son is Siun"

"I see, My name is Yael and this grumpy guy next to me is Karter, and Jean is the one driving the carriage right now... Anyways, you guys are all Xinthris right? Your kid was pretty fast haha"

"Haha I can see why you would think that, but im actually from Seux like you. My skin just got lighter due to me being here for so long."

"Ahhhh I see! I was wondering why does a guy is so muscular!"

[Siun : Tex, what are they talking about? How did Silas know she was a Seux so fast?]

[Tex : It's really easy, people from Seux usually have a tan because of the hot climate there]

[Siun : Ahhhh I understand! So does that mean Yael might be able to use fire powers?! I want to see!]

[Tex : Huhuhu why don't you ask her then?]

"U-uhm excuse me miss Yael?"

"Huhuhu your such a cute little kid! You can call me big sister! Now what's up little bro!"

[Siun : This big sister is very friendly]

[Tex : I 100% agree with you]

"Can you use fire magic?! Since your from Seux?!"

"Hahaha! Children are so curious! Look over there"

Yael said as she pointed to a tree far away.

[Siun : Is this going to be the same as what my mom did? Where she burns a single leaf? I'm being scammed by this big sister]

[Tex : Be a bit more patient can't you?]

Yael turned her body facing the tree and snapped her fingers creating a loud pop sound.

a few seconds pass by

[Siun : This world truly is filled with con artists]

"Uhm... big sister? I couldn't see anything, are you sure you can do fire magic?"

"This little kid!? How dare you speak to Yael like that!?"

The voice came from Karter

Karter was a very muscular man with black hair with matching black eyes, he was a massive man who was 6'4! And on his back was a shiny shield. and was the same age as Yael

"Karter stop it! He is just a kid! but... I really thought you would be able to see that Siun you are a Seux after all, most three year olds can see that far in Seux. Is it because of this mysterious illness you have?"

"Oh no no no, it has nothing to do with Siun's illness. It's probably just because he is a mixed blood! But he can already run like a Xinthri!" Silas said proudly.

"Hmmm I see I see, Since Siun can't see it from that far then I'll just do it again! but this time more enormous, and extravagant!"

[Siun : How confident is this girl?!]

[Tex : I'm actually quite interested now... Lets see what Yael can do! Go Yael!]

[Siun : Look at you! I wish you were this supportive to me!]

[Tex : You can't even do magic because your a chosen one remember? what am I supposed to cheer you up for?]

[Siun : ...]

"Now make sure to look closely Siun! Watch your big sister!"

Yael said as she once again turned to another big tree, this time she didn't snap her fingers. Yael slow lifted her arms and stretched them out straight.

Then she swiftly clapped her hands. And once her hands came into contact with one another bright yellow flames exploded out of her fingertips, it rapidly shot out and in no time at all lit the whole tree on fire!

"WOW!"

Siun exclaimed out loud.

"Hahaha! Now do you see how strong Yael is!? And you dared to call the great Yael Lyle a weakling who couldn't use magic! Hahaha!"

Karter bursts out laughing.

[Siun : This sister has a last name? Tex, I thought you said that NPCs dont have last names! Are you lying to me again?!]

[Tex : You are right that NPCs here dont have last names, but Yael Lyle is not just a normal NPC! She is a relative of the Seux royal family, but she is not a direct descendant. Also Yael Lyle wasn't part of the hero's party or had a major impact on the plot in "Killing The Demon Lord" so she is therefore an NPC]

[Siun : Damn I totally forgot about his being a book...]

[Tex : You idiot! Did you really actually forget?!]

After that Siun just decided to stop talking
