I wish I wasn't stuck here with this nice and quiet cousin of mine. Why did I even agree to take her along?

"Antonio, where are we going again?" Her small voice says, and I look back at her, she looks tired, I feel the urge to just pick her up and carry her in my arms.

"We are almost there, are you tired?" I ask, she looks at me with the most beautiful brown eyes.

"Yes, I am. Can we rest?"

"Sure, let's rest here and then tomorrow we can carry on with our journey", I stopped and pull the backpack off me, taking out the tent and started joining it, she was just sitting there looking at me.

"You are different", I look at her confused. What does she mean about that?

"Of course princess", I touch her forehead and start chanting a spell, an erasing spell. I saw everything that she has gone through and the nights she screams.

She starts crying and screaming. No wonder why Nick is so overprotective of his little sister, he knows how his sister is suffering.

I pull my hand back and smile.

"I'm sorry I should have warned you about that. Now everything is okay, no more nightmare and you are free", she looks shocked, and her mouth opens wide

"How did you do that? What are you? What did you do?" And she asks stupid questions.

"I did an erasing spell; I erased every memory of how your parents died and I am a half-witch and spells are something I know by heart."

"Wow, that was cool. Please erase the memory of my rejected mate"

"No can do that princess. You must live with that, never forget that someone stupid left you and you will get someone who will love you forever"
