Play A Game

While SeonHwan was moving towards khan.

Something clicked in the other female's mind, she said to other members who were distracted by SeonHwan.

"I got an idea!" Everyone's gaze changed at her.

"Look, the gate is open, why not we gang up and leave at once, since the statues will be able to strike two people the remaining will have the opportunity to leave!!"

Dong-woo seems to be the wise one here, who thoroughly thought about her idea.

She's not wrong, this might work out well, if all of us ran towards the giant gate, first two people distance themselves from the other party, and try to reach the gate.

I'm sure those statues will strike at them from both sides. While their staff will be on the ground we will be able to get out somehow.

"You're right, but there's still many flaws in your idea," ji-hoon stated as he continued.

"First, if we gang up then all of us will die quickly with two attacks from those staffs even if somehow two people take the hit for others to escape, the possibility is still low"

"Since we would be in need of proper accuracy for your idea to work here"

"And mostly what if they can also use fire like that snake did before?"

The lady felt despair hearing this but since she desperately wanted to leave this chamber. She shouted at Ji-hoon

"who cares!! I just want to leave this place, can't you see we will die anyways why not just give it a try and than see"

"Even if two people died for it, others might escape" while her desperation to convince Ji-hoon continued.

Soo-min came further, and moved her hand at the lady.

Slap…

She said in a serious tone, even though her own face was filled with anxiousness yet she was holding well and slapped the lady.

"Have you become crazy?! don't you care about other people's lives? Look at their faces, do you think any of us will agree with you?"

"i know that we don't have an option but look at SeonHwan who's going there and trying to do something by himself"

Soo-min pointed her finger towards SeonHwan, once more everyone's eyes were on Seonhwan who was close to khan.

The snake moved his head up, his mouth was opened again and he was ready to eat up SeonHwan.

Before the snake could attack SeonHwan, but Seonhwan stopped at some distance between him and khan, he looked at Khan with an anxious look.

What is he planning to do? Die like this?

System, do I have to kill him?

[You can't kill him, just see what he does and then take further action]

That would be interesting, he should know that the further step would lead to his death. Could he be using the emotion control I have taught him?

Impressive, this is unexpected if he is really using his method with a mixture of emotion then he knows what to do next.

"This much will be good", SeonHwan said, as he stopped from moving further.

The snake was ready, it was just one more step for SeonHwan and he would be a goner.

What's next? That was something everyone thought when they saw him standing there.

They all were surprised that the snake had not attacked him yet.

"Hey, look, that snake isn't attacking seon. Did he know the way to save himself from the snake attack?" Said a C-ranker, he was surprised but another C-ranker further stated.

"I think it's because he isn't attacking like the other man did, can't you see the monster is already prepared itself to strike at SeonHwan"

Dong-woo said in his mind.

He's right, that snake isn't attacking but prepared. If I think about it, maybe it's the distance. As long as you keep your distance you will be able to avoid being attacked by it.

"Will this really work?" SeonHwan said while he bent down on one leg, it seemed that he was trying to kneel down.

It was a sign to show respect to a king and superior individual. Since the human-like monster was neither normal looking.

He was a powerful individual.

I have read somewhere, that a man once kneels down to a human dragon, when there was no other way for him to escape. SeonHwan said in his mind.

It may sound like nonsense but it's just something that keeps popping in my head. And looking at the snakes I just thought it might be a hint.

While he was saying all of this in his mind, everyone who was watching him, were being convinced to do the same.

Only when the snake statue returned back to his main position. Kneeling down to the throne.

Tap… tap… tap…

They all dashed and kneel down beside SeonHwan just like SeonHwan was doing.

What a scenario it was, without hesitation they came and kneel down as soon as the snake backed off.

Was this all they had to do? What I mean is that, do they all have to kneel down than the long hair man would let them go?

Khan just stared at them, all of them were looking down on the floor.

What should I do now? Since I was somehow able to solve one problem but now I have no other clue of what next thing I need to do.

The monster keeps looking at us, even when I'm looking down I can feel tense.

Khan smiled. This is better.

Finally he said something after staying silent for a long time.

"humans, all of you want to leave this place right?"

They all wanted to look up but the pressure on their bodies, they were getting a feeling that if they moved their heads up they would insistly be killed.

"Ye–Yes," SeonHwan said, showing his bravery.

"Why not play a game?"

What, A game?!

Then, three giant cubes rose from the floor. There were 3 cubes and each one of them appeared far away from each other.

There were small yellow crystals which were shining bright on top of the cubes.

All of them looked back at the cubes and the crystals. They were confused what type of game it would be.

"It's an easy game, those who are able to get those yellow crystals can escape the chamber while those who will fail…"

All of them swallow their own saliva, since they knew what the human-like monster was about to say.

"They will die"
