tamed ch 13

As I prepare myself to attack the shikigami, the samurai then appear in front of me attempting to slash me once again, but to it's surprised I suddenly disappear and reappear in front of the shikigami, and quickly cut off it's arm causing it to growl at me, it then once again backed away but because of the earlier encounter I anticipated that it will do it again, so I then dash and quickly aim my blade to it's leg so that It can't move again, and to my surprise a giant hammer suddenly appeared to my side, hitting my body and launching me towards the nearest tree

"Damn it, this shikigami is full of surprises, not just one but two huh, and it seems this one is holding a giant hammer this will be troublesome and that's not all, the worst part of it, is that i can't even hurt them as all my attack proved to be ineffective to their body, what should I do"

As I was thinking about the predicament I was in, I saw the two creatures that the shikigami sommun just standing besides the shikigami

"Hmmm, are they protecting it, since that shikigami has now Branded me as it's enemy, getting close to it would be hard huh, heh I guess taming it normally would be hard considering it's hostility towards me, hmm what to do, ohh I see"

as a grin was plastered in my face I then put the blunt side of my sword on my shoulder, I then point my index finger to the shikigami, and release my cursed energy, I then used my cursed energy manipulation to compressed it, as the cursed energy slowly gather at the tip of my index finger while being compressed I then fired it, but to my surprise it was block by the samurai

"Hahaha, even this couldn't kill you, huh?"

As I was praising the samurai, that it was able to block my attack I saw the samurai's katana started to break

"Ohh, so they can get hurt interesting even though I can't attack it, it doesn't mean it's invincible, if I attack the samurai my blade will only phase through its body, but if I attack the shikigami, it will block it with it's sword, so in other words if I want to kill it, all I just have to do is attack the shikigami"

"Alright then"

A ball of cursed energy the size of a basketball suddenly appeared behind my back I then compressed it to the size of a marble ball, and after that I then fired it to the shikigami, and it was blocked once again but this time instead of the samurai the one that blocked it was the one that was holding a giant hammer, and just like the samurai it's weapon suddenly started to break

"Ohh it seems you are taking turns blocking my attack"

'although they're weapons have started to break it doesn't mean that it's unusable, I still need to be wary of those two and to the shikigami as well, since I have no clue how many it can sommun, fighting it head on will only put me in a disadvantage so I'll just play it safe and attack it from this distance, although I don't like this method but as I am now I don't think I can fight them leisurely, as one mistake can lead to my death'

As I prepare myself to attack, an arrow suddenly hit my leg causing me to fall down

"What?.... since when?"

As I frantically looking around searching for the one that did it, I then saw a tall black figure holding a giant bow while pulling the string and once again aiming at me, I then dodge it and quickly hid behind the nearest tree,

"what the actual fuck, this time a creature that can fire at long-range, damn this is getting harder every secon-"

As I was about to finish my sentence an arrow suddenly appeared in my stomach,

"what?... fuck!"

'I forgot it's attack can phase through anything, damn it due to the sudden attack I lose my ability to think calmly and quickly hid behind a tree which prove to be futile as the arrow can easily phase through it'

I then started running around so that I can avoid getting hit

"Damn it, this proves to be quite difficult"

as I was moving and dodging it's attack i then use the time to calm myself and gather my thoughts,

"now then what plan should I do, since the shikigami has close range as well as long range, so getting close and getting some space between us would prove to be quite difficult,

As I was moving around I then grabbed something in my pocket, as I open my hand I saw one small curse spirit

"sigh, I guess I'll use these, although I wanted to use these curse spirit for training so that I can further improved my cursed energy manipulation, but what's the point of it if I'm dead"

I then stopped at my track and the black figure didn't waste any time and quickly shoot another arrow towards my direction to which I quickly Dodge it, I then poured a huge amount of cursed energy towards the curse spirit and in an instant it's cursed energy started to rise exponentially,

"although I can only transform a normal curse spirit into a grade 2 curse spirit, it will still be enough, as I only want it to fight those three and give me some time so that I can beat that shikigami. alright now curse spirit attack them,

'I've never done this before so I don't really know if this curse spirit will listen to my orders or not'

After a second the curse spirit then started to run at the direction to where I was pointing

"Few thank goodness it listen, now then I should focus on the shikigami and end this as soon as possible, Although I doubt that the curse spirit I send can actually put up a good fight, as I am focusing on what's in front of me right now"

I quickly cover my Intire body as well as the inside with cursed energy, I then dashed to the shikigami, and quickly draw my blade and because of its messing arm it's movement have now become sluggish

'alright I'll use this opportunity to deliver an attack,

And because of my past mistakes, I keep my guards up for any surprise attack, and as I expected the shikigami then made another one and it's below me, as I noticed this I quickly stepped on it causing it to disappear,

'oh so you can attack it if the body is still not complete, interesting'

After I stepped on it, I then quickly slice the shikigami's other arm causing it to roar in an agonizing way, and out of nowhere it tried to bite me

"Oh My, desperate much"

And in contrast I simply sidestepped to the side making the attack of the shikigami missed, after the shikigami fall I then looked to where my curse spirit is and to my surprise it only manage to lose two arm and one leg, as I was looking at the curse spirit I then saw the three figure that it was fighting earlier

'hmm it seems they are fading, but the shikigami is still alive, maybe it has something to do with the shikigami's concentration, oh well I'll know it once I tamed it

As I put my worry to the side, I then looked at the shikigami, and out of nowhere my shadow suddenly became enlarge and engulfed the shikigami, as this caught me by surprise, and in the next moment I suddenly felt something

"Huh?... What's this uncomfortable sensation I'm feeling, does it have to do with the shikigami?... Hmm well only one way to fine out, Baku"

As I call out tha name of the shikigami, my shadow has once again enlarge and inside it came out the shikigami that I fought just now, and to my surprised it didn't attack me

"Oh, I guess this is a succes"
