CHAPTER 12

Raynier Zheng stopped by his teacher's office to apply for advanced classes and ask for time off from school. He showed his prowess at studying so that they would approve his application without any hassle.

Knock, knock...

Raynier Zheng opened the door and greeted the teachers inside the faculty room. He walked directly to his teacher's table and talked about his request. His teacher was quite disappointed with the request he mentioned because everyone wanted to prioritize his studies as he was gifted with them.

"I will approve your request to have advanced classes as long as you get an A+ grade in all your subjects. I will also accept this application for leave, but I can only give you 2 weeks for now and see if you can catch up with the classes you'll miss. If you have good results by then, I will compromise on your deal and try to negotiate with your other teachers. You need to come back here after 2 weeks. If I don't see you by then, say goodbye to your request."

" Thank you very much Professor Sen Sei. I really appreciate your help and making an effort to lend me a hand at my request."

When they finished their discussion, Raynier Zheng called his driver and told him that he didn't need to be fetched by them because he had something to do... he was declined.

The driver told him that they cannot do that because his mother arranged for them to escort him to wherever he went so that they could protect him.

He had no choice because they would report it to his mother, so he asked them that they needed to go to an herbal shop to buy some herbs. The driver asked if he was not feeling well because he was in need of some herbs.

Raynier Zheng answered them that he was fine and not sick. He just needed some herbs to practice with and for research, so there was no need for them to report it to his mother. He asked them to keep it a secret because his work was still in progress and didn't have any results yet. Everyone is supportive so they will keep this to their madam as their young master requested.

For the past two weeks, Raynier Zheng cultivated and practiced his Medical Alchemy and made some qi gathering pills that will help him to improve his cultivation. He also made beautification pills for his mother's upcoming birthday. The blood pills can improve his vitality and they work a miracle for ordinary people.

He secluded himself until the two weeks finished and he needed to report to school. As usual, he stunned everyone in his studies and went to his teacher's office after class to follow up his request.

Now that he is at the level where he can transform his qi and use the special martial techniques that he's been practicing, he plans to build a secret force. He started to look for a trustworthy person with relevant qualifications in cultivation.

He asked his driver to stop by at the black market to try his luck to find the person he was looking for. He didn't find anyone but he at least found a black void stone. A special mineral that can help you cultivate space magic skills if you have a massive quantity and special constitution with it. Even if you cannot use it as a cultivation material, you can make a storage space out of it.

When he went home, he greeted his parents, then he went to wash up and change his clothes. After that, he goes downstairs to dine together with his parents for dinner. When it's time for everyone to get to their bedrooms to sleep... he will sneak out to cultivate or do his things. Now that he has a black void stone, he is thinking about what he will do with it.

' It's better to keep it first for future purposes. I should try to prepare to set off to breakthrough to the next realm.'

After a while, he made another batch of pills. He also try to practice other types of magic that he learned at the Mystic Realm.

" Wow! Just one step and you will reach the Nascent Realm." A deep voice came out of nowhere. At first, it startled him but Raynier recognize the voice.

" Disciple greets the Master Duncan the Warlord."

"Ho ho! You can still recognize me huh!?!"

' Of course! I will always remember the person who throw me down in the middle of the ocean'

"This disciple will always remember master's GOOD DEED and help this brat to be strong."

" Good! Good! Hahaha! It's nice that you still remember my teachings but you're still so weak so you need to improve your strength more. I am here to review your accomplishments but seeing that you will soon enter to Nascent stage, it's good to see that you didn't neglect your training but you're still far enough on being a strong person. You have strong and stable foundation. It's good to know that you are doing great on your own. Well then, I think I need to go already."

" The disciple bid Master Duncan a goodbye." He bowed down as the voice vanishes.

After he was done with his work for the night, he sneaked into his room and rested for a couple of hours left before he headed to his class.
