What They Found
The monster had its entire body covered in black scales. However, there were several cracked parts between the scales, revealing something yellowish like molten rock.
It also carries a club filled with sharp spikes. From the spikes emerged a black mist like its horns.
"Oh, this guy is here again," the curly-haired man said. "I killed your friend earlier."
"That monster has already come?" Zigan turned to the man.
The man nodded with an uneasy expression despite his light tone of voice. "Careful, I don't know what black mist is but if you get hit by it, something bad will happen to you."
"What is that?" Hael asked.
"You will become like them."
"GRUAAAHH!!!" The monster let out a howl that was so loud that it created ripples in the air. It also raises its hand as if showing its might.
It then charged at them with the horns thrusted forward. Every step gives rise to a small vibration.
