1 The Betrayal

the pastor said before they knew it the light's went out and when it came back everyone was shocked to have seen pictures of the groom and his mistress which is the bride's best friend

"what is the meaning of this Arien, you and Beatrix. how could you do this to me"

"no keisha it's not what u think. this is all a misunderstanding"

"how could you call this a misunderstanding am seeing everything clearly"

he looked at Beatrix telling her to explain to her that nothing happened between them but to his surprise she made the whole situation worse and not feeling any remorse.

"oh my dear sweet friend you are so dumb in many ways. everything you've seen it clearly me and Arien were together and now am carrying his child. " everyone was left dumbfounded when those words came out of her mouth

"what your pregnant." Keisha asked

"yes I am. I was feeling a little under the weather. so I decided to go to the doctor for a check up and I found out that am two weeks pregnant for Arien"

"how are you sure the child is mine I mean it could belong to someone else "

Beatrix was astonished when he said that it was like she didn't know who he was.

"what do you mean someone else the child clearly belongs to you"

Beatrix said furiously

"wait did you just say two weeks. that means this has all been happening during our relationship " Keisha spoke sadly

"am sorry bestie i hope you don't mind " Beatrix said with pride

"what have i ever done to you to deserve this kind of humiliation and disgrace. please i can't do this anymore "

Keisha ran out of the wedding hall into the streets with tears in her eyes

'I can't believe they would do this to me What have i ever done bad to them. what did i do to deserve this'

As Keisha was walking and thinking of what just happened a car almost jammed her but before the car could hit her she fainted the owner of the car (Alex) and his driver (Humphrey) carried her to Alex house to get a check up

3hrs later

Keisha woke up and realised that she was not familiar with the building before she saw a male figure she checked herself and found out that her clothes were changed

"who are you. where am i and where am my clothes. what happened to me, why am i here."

Keisha asked in fright

"woah you ask to many questions one at a time please. where do i start. okay my name is Alexander Clarke but you can call me Alex, your at my house because you fainted Infront of my car and as for your clothes i asked the maid to change it because it seemed a little bit uncomfortable. that most be all the answers you need right." Alex said

"okay thanks you but i really need to go now my family might be looking for me " Keisha said

"yeah your husband perhaps "

Alex said looking at Keisha's ring

"oh right i forgot about this."Keisha forcefully threw the ring on the floor "please help me throw it away or you can give it to one of your maids as a gift"

Alex looked at her in a confused state like what did she mean why will she just throw the ring like that "may i ask you what happened "

"well things didn't work out as i wanted it my supposed to be best friend had an affair with my ex fiance and got pregnant and it's not like it's a one night stand or anything they were literally dating so i called off the wedding but i have to explain things to my parents "

As Keisha said that she stood up and wanted to leave when she lost her balance and fell on Alex their mouth touched but for some seconds and their eyes met

"Am s-so-sorry i didn't do it on purpose i lost my balance" Keisha spoke in a shy tone

"i know that's why i told you to rest more" Alex said

"but i really have to explain things to my parents" Keisha said

"ok you can go but am still responsible for you so can i have your WeChat number and i can ask the driver to send you home just incase and if you need anything call me " Alex said

"sure thank you " Keisha replied
