The night came so fast before they could even finish talking about their past lives. A knock on the door stopped all the giggles and curses at once.

Haneul stood up and creaked the door open to see the smiling manager. "Good evening, young ladies. I prepared a humble supper. Would the two of you wish to dine here or perhaps downstairs?"

Hearing this, she shook her head and smiled warmly before she gave her response. "Neither. If possible, we can take our lunch on the way."

The manager could not believe his ears. How could a noble lady respond with such thing a commoner would do?

With his mouth slightly agape, he looked at Haneul and whipped his gaze towards Yumi as if waiting for her to disapprove.

However, Yumi just raised her hand and gave the manager a thumbs up. "We will be eating on the way, manager."
