Chapter Eighty-one: The Morning Show

A soft tap on her cheeks made Haneul to slowly wake up from a deep slumber. She then felt the hot weather through the window that was surprisingly open. Weird. She could clearly remember that she closed the window before going to bed.

It was then immediately answered by a small voice that was waking her up. "Eonnie…"

When Haneul realized that it was Ari, she then slowly peeled her eyes open and stretched her arms and legs. "Hrmn…"

'Morning stretches surely are the best~.'

Seeing this, Ari's face beamed as she leaned closer as if inspecting whether Haneul was merely half asleep or was finally awake. 

With a soft and low tone of voice, Ari asked the Empress, her head slightly tilted, "Eonnie, are you already awake?"
