Chapter III: The Will

Third Person Pov

There where loud talks amongst the adults as Tatiana arrive at the living room. She can clearly see her uncles whose wearing deluxed attires as they circle around the coffin of the deceased old lady.

Though it may rude to say Tatiana find them so annoying. They are like loud buzzing bees greedy to find a beautiful flower to get pollen from. Not to mention Tatiana can tell how this people care more about the inheritance more rather than her grandmother death.

They are a bunch of greedy people they were always are. Even back then when she was a little girl they have always been eyeing money like it's the worlds best treasure though it is actually the worlds treasure she thinks sometimes she though why. And furthermore rather than probably keeing the money all safe in he bank her uncles or aunties somehow manage to lose all of them a single day.

Probably gambling but Tatiana can't voice her disdain. Because she knew that her mother is gonna get scold by those greedy people. Telling her mother that she's only a single mother and she should get married again so she can properly scold her disrespectful children or so they say.

She absolutely despise them to the point why she question why is she even a member of this family. Like she always wonder why she have to be born in a family whose obsess with so much money. Though she also cant judge after all she also do like money but she'd rather store it in her bank account rather than her spending it on useless stuff like her uncle and aunty does.

Tatiana then felt a squish on her cheeks she then look at the perpetrator. Of course it's Rio the one and only.

"You'll get wrinkles if you keep on looking at them like that" Rio spoke.

"Like what?" Tatiana asks as she raises an eyebrow she also smack Rio hands away in her cheeks.

"You creases your forehead so much your eyes looks so tired and it screams why do i have to be in the same room as this greedy slash annoying people" Rio explained at the same Tim also tries to mimic Tatiana face.

"I don't look ugly like what your face is making right now" Tatiana spoke while raising an eyebrow.

"Hey do you know how many girls cry just to be with me" Rio stops mimicking Tatiana as he huffs annoyed at what Tatiana said.

"Yeah i doubt that but you can believe in your fantasy i wont stop you" Tatiana just said as she also get near to her mother who's sitting near the fireplace of the house.

Not only that it seems that the certain one everyone has been looking for has finally arrive.

The door of the house open as everyone stare at the person whom just arrive. That person has a tall frame he was wearing a coat he also wears a slux pants and he had a hat that looks like a magicians.

Hi hair was colored by a beautiful ash color and his deep blue eyes looks absolutely gorgeous.

As he stare at the people gather he scans his surrounding and after his eyes landed on a certain someone. He smiles and look at the whole family once again.

"I guess everyone is here" he spoke in a deep yet also a soft baritone voice.

"Once again i am sorry for the loss of The old Miss and as for her statement on her passing will i will discuss it to you now" he spoke and smile.

Everyone in the family then look at the folder that he just took out from his clothes.

"Now let us start" he said as he open the folder and took out some contents.

Tatiana stares at the man whom just entered. Every since she was a child she always find that guy weird not in a bad way or something that make her uncomfortable. There was a certain word that can describe the guy. That word is unreadable though Tatiana do know bits of him in the past.

She remembers him being her playmate when she stays at her grandmothers his also one of the people that her grandmother trust the most. Tatiana feel weirdest out at something though. Somehow that man despite being already 45 years old he still retain a handsome look of a teenage guy.

Like really how she always wonder what his skin care are. She really want it. Ttaiana flinches as her eyes lock at that person. Though she however remain having an stoic face.

The man smile as she continue scanning the surrounding. as he began to speak.

After some Time

Tatiana stops listening at the bickers of her Aunts and Aunties as they argue on why some of the inheritance is a bit unfair. Though Tatiana is sure that they are just hoping for more. Well she really didn't care though as she had never heard her mother's name being called on the will.

Well from the very beginning they didn't expect anything anyway. The only reason why she is here is because her mother knew no one would take care at the old lady.

I mean upon arriving Tatiana's mother had just seen her grandmother's coffin and there isn't even a decoration on it. And her mother knew how uncomfy must be the coffin of the old lady. Her mother almost had a heart attack at seeing that. However thank goodness some people help as they told where they can buy a good quality coffin for cheap. Though Tatiana thought the they were helpers hired by her mother turns out they are people from the village that Rio was talking about. And they were actually the one whom the old ladies are somehow friends with.

"Hey you know that man kept on glancing on your way?" Tatiana heard someone speak.

Ah right Rio was still beside her as the guy refuse to leave. Though he probably is just having fun on seeing the annoyed look on Tatiana's face.

"I guess he do remember me" Tatiana shrugged as she is slowly dozing off.

She had never had rested since yesterday midnight cause they had to travel here.

"You sleepy?" Rio asks raising an eyebrow.

"Well Yeah i don't have much energy to move around unlike you" Tatiana spoke in a tired voice.

"Why don't you use my shoulder?" Rio asks grinning.

"Nah you'll definitely make a big deal out of that I don't want your head growing big when it's already massive" Tatiana said looking at Rio suspiciously.

"Come on I'm not a bad person" Rio chuckles at Tatiana who looks like a defensive bunny in his eyes right now.

"Yeah.... i don't believe you" Tatiana spoke in a groggy yet judging voice.

Rio just simply chuckle at the blonde girl. He then proceed to look around the noisy house as he listen to the conversation.

"How come she can have this portion she doesn't even have kids what is that old woman thinking doesn't she care about her grand children?!!"

"Right back at you, it was given to me because I'm the youngest and beside grandmother have given you a piece of her farmland!"

"Yeah but I'm sharing it with somebody!"

"Your just to greedy so what if you share it to me its not like your the only child here!!"

Rio grimaces as he heard the bickering. No wonder why Tatiana look at this people with so much disgust. This lot is a bunch of greedy people. Can't they already be appreciative. Despite these people not even visiting the old lady in this house as well as not even trying to accept the responsibility of the burial.

They act as if everything was taken away from them. They're lucky that they even got something even if they didn't really care so much about the old woman.

"Say are you guys the one whom send letters to this old lady every week?" Rio asks Tatiana.

But she shrugged her shoulders.

"I think its my mom im actually not living in the same place as my mother since my school is far off. So i live in a dormitory i think my mother however do send letters or text towards my grandmother. Because the connection in this place sometimes sucks or so what my mom say" Tatiana replied as she sigh.

Rio nods his head understanding it seems that this commotion is about to finish seeing the arguments between the families are slowly dying down.

"Are they finish?" Tatiana asks.

"I think" Rio mutters.

"So it seems like Mrs. Raids is not here i was thinking that she will be one of the people who will come early and as the will had stated if the certain family member is not in here they cannot partake on getting the inheritance so the money will be donated to the school in here" The tall handsome attorney spokeas he smile.

"What why would?!!"

Despite the voices of rejections towards that decision the attorney just smiled. Though it may seems a calm smile the aura surrounding him seems the opposite otherwise.

Upon the family members noticing this there was a deafining silence.

"I understand that you guys do not like some of the decision in this will however right now you guys are attending the funeral of the said person i would be happy if you guys kindly respect the dead" the attorney spoke in a calm yet cold menancing voice.

"Nice" Tatiana smiles as she eyes the silent room.

"Ohh right i forgot to mention a part in the will though this is more likely a letter" the attorney spoke again.

"There's more?" Tatiana groans not because this has been dragging on for too long. Instead she is annoyed by the fact that the greedy people in this house eyes lit up with so much that Tatiana can tell what there hearts desire says.

" It is for Ms. Tatiana" the attorney spoke.

Tatiana look up with wide eyes. She was shocked that she was called after all she had not been contacting the old lady. Not to mention her mother is the one who had been in contact with the old lady. Tatiana look at her mother with a confuse look but her mother gave her a kind and warming gaze.

Tatiana then proceed to properly stand up as she waits on what is the will.

"Ehem To Miss Tatiana My dear grandchild I heard that your trying to find school as of now. I also heard from your mother that because your school is way too far from your, you're rarely home. I think that you may think that this will mentioning you is such a shock. However even if when im still healthy i've always want to give this part of will to you". The attorney spoke.

"Out of my many children your father is the only one that turn out to be a good kid. He was never greedy and he is someone whom work hard for the well being of his family. I was actually really sad she he had passed away before I did. But you know she you were born months prior to his death i was really happy that you look exactly like him. Blonde hair and blue eyes and as you grow older the similarities of the two of you grow even more"

"You were such a bright and kind girl though sometimes you have an unreadable expression i think that is better. After all sometimes hiding your weakness and something about you will benefit you more. Though i still do hope that you open your heart to someone. I think im dragging on this supposed to be short letter. What im gonna give you is just something simple i hope that you will like it" The attorney pause as he took a deep breath and read the contents.

"I present you this humble abode of mine that you've been always missing all these years because you speak on how you love the memories of this place aside from that I do hope that you'll come to love this place as much as i do not because its a place for good memories but it'll also a place that will start of a new for you" the attorney ended with a smile.

"Huh well that is quite just a simple gift to you i really feel bad to you" one of the uncles spoke however they are not looking at Tatiana instead they are looking at her mother who is hunched over.

"Ahh i forgot another mention a part of the will. Because Ms. Tatiana's Father is not now present however because her family is the one who had properly hold the funeral according to the last wishes of the The old Lady she said that Tatiana will also hold a large sum of a part of her 5 states as well as large sum of money which i will only discuss with her" The attorney spoke.

Tatiana was shocked as well as the other family members.

"But---!!!" someone was about to express there opinions however.

"I do hope that you guys have no problems with this because also according to the will of the late lady if anyone of you tries to poise rejection at this testament and might even try to hurt Ms. Tatiana's family the right of the inheritance that was given to them will be revoke and be sent to a school" The attorney spoke once again as he coldly glare at the people whom seems to want to said something.

"Alright then you shall all be dismissed I'm pretty sure that you guys have been itching to go him after all" the attorney spoke as he show a toothy grin though he however sounds like he just want this people to get lost.

Tatiana raise an eyebrow at that but she lightly smile.

"Now Miss Tatiana's mother i would like to speak to you" the attorney spoke.

"But my daug--"

"According to the will you'll have to handle this one because Ms. Tatiana is still not of age to have this title and npt to mention the old Miss really trust you" he spoke with a smile.

Tatiana look at her mother and she nods her head.

"Then let's discuss it" Tatiana's mother smile as they went to talk to another part of the room.

"His pretty cool" Tatiana spoke.

"Yah probably because he is a Ma--" before Rio could say another word.

A loud bang was heard outside just by the window. The two teenage girl and boy stare at there however Tatiana didn't see anything thinking that maybe it's the wind Tatiana ignotes it however Rio had a scowl on his face.

"Ahh what an annoying guy" Rio just mutters.
