In Uchiha Natsu's home, in the living room, Fugaku led Sasuke, sitting on the sofa beside the coffee table. On the opposite side, the Priestess and her bodyguard, Daisuki, accompanied Shisui, who leaned against the wall. The room, despite being afternoon, lacked the usual blue sky and sunshine. Only dense clouds, appearing on the verge of falling, covered the sky.

Outside, people hurried along the street, seemingly avoiding the clouds. The living room's lighting remained slightly dim, with the lights off. The five individuals sat around, waiting quietly. Fuyue anxiously turned his head, looking toward Uchiha Natsu's bedroom, sensing a foreboding.

The individuals present were reminiscent of the previous day's discussion about Uchiha Mikoto's resurrection. Fugaku sensed a premonition that this gathering would reveal the result. The fate of Uchiha Mikoto's revival hinged on this day.

Uchiha Natsu led Uchiha Itachi to the living room's center, standing in front of the sofa. All four, including Shisui, who had been leaning against the wall, stood up and approached.

Shisui, Sasuke, and Fugaku witnessing them standing intact, left Itachi feeling relieved. He bowed deeply to Fuyue, expressing his apologies.

Uchiha Itachi articulated thoughts he had already contemplated, offering apologies to his parents, younger brother, Shisui, and the entire Uchiha clan. Following Itachi's apology, Uchiha Natsu retrieved a scroll and unfolded it. Uchiha Mikoto's body materialized, resting on the floor in front of the sofa.

Although an entire day had passed since Uchiha Mikoto's demise, her body remained unscathed. Jonin's corpses, rich in chakra, resisted decay better than ordinary individuals. However, this resilience had its limits, and decay would eventually prevail after an extended period.

As Uchiha Itachi finished speaking and gazed at his mother's body, the shocking wound on her chest became apparent. Kneeling on the ground, Itachi faced Uchiha Mikoto's body, assuming a standard Dogeza.
