Birth - Day Eleven

As the final dregs of the dragon aura was once agin restrained within the fetus Da Lu suddenly started to scream in pain. Alerted both Tian Long and Da Jiang rush to her side so they could check what was wrong with her.

"Oh shit" Both Da Jiang and Tian Long then noticed that Da Lu's water had broken.

Slightly panicked Da Jiang grabs Da Lu's hands to comfort her however he immediately regretted it as his hand felt like it would break at any moment as his wife had no restraints put on her strength as all her focus was currently on bearing through the immense pain she was feeling at the moment and birthing her baby.

Tian Long then interjected and asked what he should do. Da Jiang then asked him to leave the room for a second as he had to take off some of Da Lu's clothes that restricted her, just before Jinag left the room Da Jiang then asked Jiang to gather some towels and soak them with hot water. Nodding Tian Long then left the room to gather the towels.

Now that Tian Long had left the room Da Jiang then proceeded to loosen Da Lu's robes whilst also putting a small blanket over her top half. Da Jiang then proceeded to discuss the future and what they will have to do now after that incident with the dragon aura being released.

Just as they had finsished their talk with eachother about the future, the door was knocked. Speaking out that it was fine for him to enter Da Jiang then watched as Tian Long walked in with the towels. Tian Long handed over the towels as he approached the side of Da Lu and then held her hand to comfort her whilst Da Jiang started watching out for the baby's head.

Currently Da Lu was just screaming out and pain wwhilst intermittenly threatening Da JInag that she was going to kill him after this was all over. Da Jiang only nervously laughed in response as he didn't know whether or not his wife would follow through or not. Tian Long on the other hand was regretting the fact that he took Da Lu's hand as her grip was only getting stronger which was progressively breaking the bones in his hand.

Tian Long's forehead was matted with sweat as he tried to deal with the pain that was assaulting his hand however he knew he didn't have any room to complain as the pain that Da Lu was going through was greater than his, and by no small amount either.

Five hours had gone by and there had been no sign of the baby's head which worried Da Jinag a lot as he didn't know how long giving birth was meant to last. He also didn't know if the birth could take longer bcause of the child being a drakonoid instead of a normal human.

"AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH" Da Lu gave a massive push as she felt that the baby was close.

Da Jiang continued to watch on nervously as he waited for the baby to appear.

"I can see the baby's head!" Da Jiang exclaimed out as he finally saw that the baby's head had appeared.

Hours passed by as Da Lu continued with the same rhythm of taking in deep breathes and deep breathes out whilst giving a push. Keeping this rhythm proved fruitful as by twelve hours almost half of the baby was out.

Tian Long during all of this was still at Da Lu's side holding her hand. He could not even feel his hand anymore, at the mone the considered it a blessing however he didn't wante to know what his hand would look like afterwards.

After another three hours the baby was finally born. Da Jiang quickly used a pair of scissors at the side to cut the umbilical cord and slapped the baby's bottom making it cry out.

"WAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH".

Da Lu was back on the bed panting finally able to relax after a continuos fourteen hours of pain which drained a lot of her mental strength. Her physical strength would return after a few hours of rest however she would need a good rest after the mental strain of bearing with the pain of childbirth.

Da Jiang wiped down the baby gently with the warm towels whilst it screamed. Cleaned up the baby was then wrapped up in a blanket. Da Jiang then announced that the baby was a girl and that her name would be Da Xin. Tian Long sighed in relief that it was really a girl as he didn't know what he would do if his 'mate' turned out to be a man. Now that Da Xin had been wrapped up she was passed on to Da Lu so that she could finally see her baby daughter. instinctively knowing that she was on her mother's arms Da Xin quieted down and stopped crying out and began to start yawning as she gradually began to sleep.

Tian Long was once again standing at the side whilst holding his hand and massingag it gently hoping that it would bring back the feeling in his hand. Da Lu then started crying which startled Tian Long . Luckily Da Lu was crying silently otherwise Da Xin would have woken up.

Da Jinag then silently walked up to the side of his wife and assured her that they were making the right decision. Tian Long was still as confused as before however before he had tome to voice his concerns Da Xin was suddenly placed within his arms. Da Lu and Da Jian then looked at each other before discussing with him what they had decided after he had left the room earlier.

Their decision was to have Tian Long leave as early as possible with Da Xin and raise her. This decision was based on the fact that the dragons from the higher realms would instruct their subordinates to search for Da Xin and capture her for them to get her. The other reason was that they couldn't take her as thanks to her being Da Xin's mother she had some of her aura which was intertwined with her's which other dragons would see and she could not hide it as it wasn't her aura, normally she would have been able to hide the aura however thanks to her superior boodline Da Xin's aura overpowered Da Lu's.

After they had given their reasons, Tian Long was left in a position where he couldn't say no and he cold see how reluctant they were to actaully part with their daughter however they had to make the tough choice so that their daughter had a chance to live.

It was with a heavy heart that Tian Long left the cabin with the baby wrapped in bundles of blankets to keep it warm. Tian Long was also given some baby food so that would last them until they got back to the academy.
