Shao Yan's eyes went round and wide. What was this?!

Why.. Why was he here?!

The man had a very sharp gaze. He had put on a very formal outfit.

Black and white striped shirt pair with black silk tie.

He had vest on a lighter shade of black color, and then his black suit jacket.

He had a glass on with black frame. Clean cut face, with prominent jawline and tall sharp nose.

Everything screamed over the top magnificence.

Lee Ying saw Shao Yan reaction and started teasing, "Yan jie~ I finally live long enough to see your drooling face over handsome guy. Your eyes literally popped out just now", she chuckled happily.

Shao Yan could only glared at her, but Lee Ying just stuck out her tongue and grinned even wider.

Daniel started to introduce the other two men.

"This is Karl Wegner."

An employee silently passed another microphone to Karl.

Foreign face with light blonde, short hair, sharp nose. He had blue eyes and cheerful face. He looked like he was in late thirties.

"Hello everyone!" Karl said that in Mandarin with slightly out of accent.

Everyone cheered him for trying.

Daniel smiled and added, "Karl is a German. He just started to learn Mandarin for almost a year now. So please feel free to talk to him to help him practice."

Karl gave a little bow and waved to everyone, who immediately liked this guy.

Daniel continued, "Next one is Martin Anderson. He only speaks English and Japanese."

The other guy was a mix heritage man. He had Caucasian facial features, but his hair and his eyes are both dark black.

Karl passed his microphone to Martin, who took it and greeted, "Hello everyone!" in both English and Japanese.

After the brief introduction, all five of them sat down.

President Huang started the session by asking Daniel to give a little background on AG International.

President Huang did this to give Gold Crane employees a sense of familiarity of the kind of people they would be working with.

Daniel took the microphone, "AG International was founded fifteen years ago."

"That time, it's only a small company that we built when we were still in college. It's only started within small scale, focusing in just our city and state."

Daniel scanned the room.

Shao Yan, who was paying close attention to him, unconsciously shrank back to her seat.

"Our goal is to always move forward and push our limits. Avant Garde. That's how we came up with AG International"

"We slowly grew and expanded to other cities before finally, we set our strong foundation in country U. And then ten years ago, our focus shifted to Karl's home country, Germany."

"Our next focus is Asia. We entered China and Japan market five years ago and we are still growing."

Daniel spoke clearly, not too fast and not too slow. He chose his words carefully. He didn't use any big words that might be difficult for normal people to understand.

VP Zhuang started to ask about the usual strategy when acquiring a company.

Karl took over the microphone and started to explain briefly in English.

Daniel deliberately scanned the meeting room again. It was a bit dimmed so it's difficult to clearly see the faces of the audience.

He couldn't find the face that he was longing to see.

The discussion soon shifted to what Gold Crane should expect in the future.

Martin and Daniel each took turns to explain. Martin gave the general big summary. While Daniel went into more details.

Basically, the employees should not worry. Even though it's acquiring another company, to begin with, they were already a unique company on its own.

So there will be no laid off. Everyone would still have their jobs to hold.

Everyone applaud cheerfully.

Thirty minutes before the meeting ended, was the question and answer session.

To let the people on the stage see the person who asked questions clearly, the organizer decided to adjust the lights in the room to be little brighter.

Daniel saw her right away.

She was looking right at him too.

VP Zhuang stood up and walked slightly to the front of the stage, "There is a standing microphone in the middle of the room here"

VP Zhuang pointed to the area, before continuing, "Anyone that wanted to ask questions, either to me, or President Huang, or AG International, please step to the front. First begin by stating your name and department and then your question."

A slightly chubby man slowly stepped forward, "My name is Fei Yang, from IT department. My question is for President Huang. Are you going to introduce cross department training? Can we invite OnScience to visit us for training?"

Everyone cheered on this question, as they knew that this person must have personal interest in asking for this 'training'. He must be also a fan of OnScience books.

President Huang answered diplomatically. Not saying yes, but also not saying no.

Another person stepped forward asking about salary and commission. If there would be any adjustments now that they're going bigger in scale.

President Huang invited VP from Human Resources to answer to this question.

Another person stepped forward, "My name is Lei Yijie, from Sales department. You can call me Cissy. My question is for Daniel."

Daniel was not even listening to all the questions, as he was busy looking at the girl on the other side. He only started to listen when he saw his girl raised her eyebrows.

Cissy the sales person paused for a while before continuing in mandarin, "I'm 26 years old and I have never been married."

The room first went silent and then started to get rowdy.

"I'm single. I earned very well. I don't smoke, I drink occasionally for work purpose, and I don't party around."

She paused and gave a dazzling smile, and then she switched to fluent English, "I just bought my first investment, my apartment. And I'm interested in you. Can we get to know each other?"

People were cheering for her. Everyone started to murmur around.

Some girls were regretting why they didn't have her courage. Now someone had stolen the start!
