"Where are you going?" I instantly felt alert, scrubbing my eyes to remove the heaviness on my lids. Seeing Nathan coming out of his closet with two overnight bags in his hands sent alarms on my brain. He dropped the bags on the bedside and went to my side of the bed.
"Glad you're finally awake." He sat down on the edge of the bed as I crawled closer to him. "Not just me. Us."
I tilted my head to scan his face for any hint of his plans, but he just smiled sweetly at me. "What do you mean?" I crinkled my eyes and nose as I focused my gaze on him.
"I thought of taking you on a trip. It's just a few hours drove outside of the city." He said coolly, standing up away from my reach. "For a couple of days." He finished.
I swiftly moved out of the bed and went after him. "Are you serious?" When he kept putting things on the bag, I knew he was dead serious. "You can't just plan for us without consulting me. Besides, I can't. I have work today."
