Staring their opponent down with calm, serious eyes, both sized up their opponent who was talented enough to make it the second round. The sound of wood colliding came from another one of the copy and pasted people, this one was instead masked with 6. "Begin!"
Seconds after, Amelia waved her hands in a unique manner. Forming cerulean blue circles with characters unseen in this world on her hands. An oddly ancient atmosphere emanated from the circles she created, which didn't use Arcane Energy. Giving her an even more mysterious air.
Amelia began her chant whilst Vin observed the energy she was using and how it worked. "Great one who created all water! Grant me hands made from the purest and densest waters..! Triton's Hands of Sea!" Two small bubbles of water that could easily fit in a hand popped into existence, water spiraled into the bubble at a rapid speed enlarging it. Her black ponytail fluttering as streaks of water rapidly filling in, forming two giant hands that we're taller than most people. Both made of extremely compact, deep blue water. Despite water not having a color it seemed to have one here.
Not yet being done as she likely finished her first fight early and saw how he fought Hamza, she formed another set of runic circles. This time there was no chant, a layer of flexible ice covered her hands.
This seriousness she had quickly de-evolved into dissatisfaction, almost like she's mad to have an advantage. She yelled out to her seemingly carefree opponent, "Are you going to fight me? Why aren't you doing anything!" It was obvious by her tone she was upset by the possibility her opponent just gave up.
But a shocking reply resounded from Vin whose White Hair similarly began to dance in the wind of water forming two hands, "And I thought I was doing a handy job!"
Blurting out two words and a half, she realized she probably shouldn't say that and cut herself off last second, "What the h-!" Confused by how he did such a thing, though she wasn't so arrogant to think her ability couldn't be copied. What left her dazed was the speed at which he deciphered.
Releasing a huge amount of air from his mouth in seconds Vin looked at two hands he formed with satisfaction. The breath he released was filled with Yin, or in other words, death. It quickly spread and polluted the water till it turned ashen into a deathly color.
The two hands of liquid death stood as guardians for their creator in wait of sudden attacks. Amelia silently nodded in her head at this application of Yin Breath to what used to be her skill. The word communism had shortly appeared in her thoughts followed by 'our skills.' If he could steal her skills, she could do the same. Right?
She waved her two physical hands causing an illusory runic symbol to appear that was dozens of meters tall and wall. The two hands made from water ruched out to attack Vin, they were sent outward without much thought behind them.
The two hands were immediately dispersed into fog by the yin enhanced hands piercing through them.
Still, Vin took too long as Amelia had already finished her skill, "-Kraken's Rune of Platinum!"
Disgusting tentacles crawled out of the rune which was now spinning and becoming more real. Eight shining platinum tentacles swarmed out with great power being exuded from its physical body. Two domineering crimson eyes followed suite.
A giant, long head with flame-like, orange waving seagrass atop its forehead which could be instead be called an eighthead. A single tentacle with the power of a mutated Tier Four boss shot through a hand Vin created. The miniature kraken swam through the air as if it were water, and even better for Amelia, it was unaffected by the Yin Breath. Another tentacle then slashed the remaining hand into tiny pieces that turned to mist.
Shooting itself through the air, the Platinum Kraken smashed it's entire weight onto Vin's body. Launching Vin backwards, without a chance to resist. He quickly summoned a shield behind to stop his body from being rag dolled out of the arena boundaries.
The Chaos Aura he re-enabled shortly after the fight began mitigated a portion of the damage. The rest of the damage was taken on by his body which was slightly enhanced by Nether Energy.
He finally faced some pressure, not much though since this was only the start. Both sides should be wanting to win as soon as possible with their strongest, but it's also a learning experience they can't give up. Which is why Vin didn't just use the five flame seal from the start. Instead he's only used moves he already knew for defense and is now creating or stealing new offensive ones.
Amelia was a great enemy to fight for him as her abilities were truly unique. Different from anyone else he has seen that wasn't yet a Complete Arcaned, he was hoping to slowly push her to use stronger and stronger moves but she went ahead and skipped to what he assumed was one of her strongest skills, if not the strongest.
Though that only slowed down the process… not halting it. For a new skill had been made.
"Relentless Tribulation."
The Kraken then halted its forward movement and quickly ran as Vin's aura went out of control. Amelia stood at the other side of the arena chanting another skill the seemed to have a really long chant. Shock appeared on her face, which was funny because dozens of strands of rather slow lightning sped to the Amelia. Instead of Amelia being hit, it was the Kraken.
Sadly for the seafood, the lightning wasn't yet done and continued to deep fry it. Causing the Kraken to release an embarrassing shriek as it was so confident moments earlier. The skill Amelia was preparing was immediately stopped and she used another to save her Kraken.
The gates of spirits! Translucent spirits appeared from the ground and began to bind Vin. This binding skill seemed to have little flaws, but one flaw was devastating.
Deathly energy. "Yin Breath!" A breath of ash gray caused the spirits to disappear at the slightest of touch. The spirit did their jobs though as the lightning had stopped. The Kraken was now free, and pissed.
All eight tentacles and their shining color zoomed towards Vin. The Kraken seemed to have had used a skill itself as it's tentacles were covered in sharp ice. Vin directly countered the enemy using his Bones of Anarchy skill tree, summoning two duplicate swords made from bones, the hottest of flames, and streaks of lightning. Along side 6 made from bone and flames.
Eight sounds similar to that of metal colliding resounded as each tentacle was countered by a blade. Shattering the ice but not getting through the skin. The two stronger swords executed a quick spin in the air to draw blood from the Kraken, as half of two tentacles were removed from its body. Green blood splattered across the arena like paint, while a pained expression appeared on the Kraken.
An ancient and mystique voice boomed from the Shiny Kraken that was mouthless, "You… you're an interesting human…" Vin was now the one being shocked. The mouthless creature could speak! Though Vin didn't the know most shocking part was about to appear, "Platinum Storm."
Metal-like shards of water appeared around the Kraken! Only to begin raining down like thundering night, the sound of water that missed, hitting the arena caused an echoing sounds to be made. Despite the nature of the arena having no where for an echo to bounce back or off of.
A shield of bones and ice appeared in front of Vin, further amplified by newly summoned Hands of Triton, Yin Breath, and Chaos Aura. He should have known better than to leave Amelia underhanded though. As Amelia used yet another skill while he was distracted! "Six Eyed Devil!"
