Kenji didn't even wait for an answer, he drew his sword immediately and with one swift motion, an arc of lightning flew from his sword, flying towards the man's stomach.
The man simply placed his hands before his stomach, stopping the attack in its tracks but was pushed back by the sheer force.
The man turned his head, looking for Kenji but he couldn't find him, the sound of lightning crackling above his head was enough to make him look upwards.
There Kenji was, descending upon him like an Angel that had imbued his blade with lightning, stabbing it right into the chest of the man.
The man pulled the sword forward but thanks to vantage sight, Kenji had already seen it and pulled out his short sword, Lodging it into the man's head killing him instantly.

Kenji slid, grabbing his sword and getting back on his feet, his eyes locked onto his next target and he began moving.
Kenji ran towards one of the other men, who also charged at him, Kenji had managed to touch Zach and had gotten the lightning ability.
Kenji performed a backflip, dodging a fireball and quickly maneuvered his way in the air, his blade still crackling with lightning.
Kenji could feel the combination his vantage sight and his danger sense, he could detect whatever was about to happen and quickly evaded a water whip from his right
Zach spring into action, with a stretch of his hands, lightning bolts flew forward, crashing into one of the attackers and sending them flying.
So far, Zach and Kenji were the only super powered members of the group, who knew how to use their powers properly, the only other person with superpowers, didn't even know how to use hers.
Kenji landed on the ground, surrounded by two men,Zach was experiencing the same fate and from what Kenji could gather, the last man he fought was the weakest of the group, each of these men were level 3 and it would prove a little difficulty.
Both men fired out attacks made of water and fire relentlessly, and Kenji continued to slice each and every one, he was beginning to waste mana with his lightning slash so he had cancelled it.

Kenji's body blurred, appearing behind one of the men, Mana flash was a simple skill on paper but in reality it was far more complicated.
It was more like launching yourself from one point to another, you couldn't change direction after launching and can't dodge any incoming attacks, thankfully he was just too fast for the man to see him.

Kenji compressed enough Mana into his sword causing it to glow a light blue color and with all his strength he buried it right into the head of the man with the water ability.

Kenji locked eyes with the other man, with a snap of the man's fingers he had unleashed balls of water and sent them. all hurtling towards Kenji.
Kenji didn't even bother to dodge, with a stretch of his hands a bolt of lightning was sent flying, using the waterballs headed towards Kenji, the lightning travelled through them and struck the man in the chest, electrocuting him instantly.
Zach was about to finish him off when Kenji told him not to, they needed to gain information from. at least one of these men to find out what their agenda was and who they were.
"Who are you? " Zach said taking the initiative, his hands already coated in lightning and ready to kill the man.
"We are the last remaining descendants of the dragon, this spot has been marked by our masters, better ru.... " The man tried to say but he couldn't move his lips anymore.
Kenji sheated his blade and without any shred of remorse stepped on the man's severed head and continued walking.
That first sentence was all he needed to hear, last descendants of the dragon, it could only be the Japanese biggest gang in Japan, the Yakuza.
And if the Yakuza had marked this spot then they needed to be extremely careful, it wouldn't be easy for them to give up on this place, especially now that their agents were dead, it was only a matter of time before they stormed the place.
"I guess we are going to be facing off against monsters and humans. " Zach said with a sigh.
"Everyone, pack your things, grab as much food as you can, we are leaving this place. " Kenji said shocking everyone.
According to him the hypermarket was like a perfect haven for them to survive out the apocalypse.
It would be easy for them to take one of the fruits and crops to plant and have a renewable source of food, they could comfortably live off the remaining water in the hypermarket and would live their full lives.
"We can't fight the Yakuza, get that stupid idea out of your head, just because we have powers doesn't mean we can take on Japan's most powerful gang, can you dodge a bullet? " Kenji said to Zach who was about to retaliate.
Zach swallowed his comment and they all began following Kenji's orders, he might not have been nice but at least he kept them alive so far.
