chapter 5

I was surprised when I was accepted into one of the top high schools in the city. It was a huge accomplishment for me, and I was proud of myself for being able to get in on my own merit. At first, I was nervous about attending a school with so many talented and intelligent students, but I quickly realized that I was able to hold my own among them.

The academic rigor of the school was challenging, but I was able to keep up with my studies and excel in my classes. I found myself surrounded by people who were passionate about learning and constantly striving to do better.

I was still a bit of an outsider, though. I didn't participate much in social activities and I was always a bit of a loner. But I was content with that, as I was able to focus on my studies and develop my abilities. I had never been one for small talk or casual conversation, and I found it difficult to relate to people my own age.

As Alexander King, I was always an observer in the shadows, observing the world from a distance, but never really getting involved. However, that changed when I overheard two of my classmates talking about the Reverse Flash and the Flash fighting in Gotham City, at this very moment.

My knowledge about the DC Multiverse had always been a fascination of mine, and the mention of these iconic heroes fighting in my city was too tempting to ignore. I couldn't help but listen to their conversation, trying to gather as much information as I could.

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The Reverse Flash, one of the most notorious villains in the DC universe, was here, in Gotham City. This was the perfect opportunity for me to demonstrate my powers and prove my worth to the world. I had been keeping them hidden for so long, only using them to defend myself when necessary, but now I was ready to take things to the next level.

As I sat there, I began to daydream about the possibilities. My mind started racing with thoughts of how I could use this situation to my advantage. If I were able to copy and enslave the powers of someone as strong as the Reverse Flash, what couldn't I do?

I knew that Reverse Flash was known for his overconfidence and I believed that the moment he had the Flash on his knees would be the perfect moment for me to strike. I felt a rush of excitement at the thought of acquiring his powers and becoming even stronger.

I had been keeping my powers hidden for 16 years, but now it was time to reveal them to the world. I was confident in my abilities and believed that I could enslave the powers of Reverse Flash and surpass them.

Over the years, I had copied the powers of many normal humans, each one giving me new abilities and increasing my overall strength, speed, and intelligence. I was far beyond the capabilities of any normal human. I knew I had a chance to win.

The thought was tantalizing, and I knew that I had to act fast.

I quickly gathered my things and left the lunchroom, determined to find the Reverse Flash and confront him. I knew that this would be a dangerous mission, but I was confident in my abilities. I had honed my skills over the years, and I was certain that I could defeat the Reverse Flash if it came to that.

Before arriving at the scene, I made sure to cover my face with a mask to hide my identity.

I also remembered that Batman was probably watching. After all, this was his city.

As I made my way to the location where the Reverse Flash was reported to be, I felt my heart racing with excitement and adrenaline. This was it, the moment I had been waiting for. I was finally going to show what I was capable of.

When I arrived at the scene, I saw the Reverse Flash, in his iconic yellow suit, locked in a fierce battle with the Flash. I stood back and watched for a few moments, observing their every move.

I knew that Reverse Flash was known for his overconfidence and I believed that the moment he had the Flash on his knees would be the perfect moment for me to strike.

"Ha ha ha!" The Reverse Flash laughed, his voice echoing through the abandoned warehouse where he had cornered The Flash. "You never stood a chance, Barry."

Barry, panting and sweating, tried to push himself up but found himself unable to. His knees were weak, his muscles exhausted from the intense chase that had lasted for hours. "You may have been able to beat me a few times before, but not anymore." The Reverse Flash continued, his eyes blazing with a strange energy. "I have come too far and worked too hard for this moment. I will not let you take it away from me."

"Stay back!" Barry warned as he tried to regain his footing, but the Reverse Flash was too quick. He was right in front of Barry in an instant, taunting him.

"Look at you, Barry. Down on your knees already?" the Reverse Flash sneered.

"I'm not down for the count yet," Barry replied, gritting his teeth. He pushed himself up, ready to fight.

"Oh, I think you are. You're just too slow, Flash," the Reverse Flash said, his eyes alight with amusement.

"I won't let you win," Barry said, determination in his voice.

"We'll see about that," the Reverse Flash replied, his tone dismissive.

As Reverse Flash was about to deliver the final blow to Flash, I emerged from my hiding spot, my heart pounding with excitement and nerves. I had been waiting for this moment for a long time, watching and learning from the sidelines, and now was my chance to prove my worth.

I approached the Reverse Flash, who was momentarily stunned by my sudden appearance, and with fierce determination, I landed a powerful blow to the side of his head. The sound echoed throughout the city, drawing the attention of anyone within earshot.

Reverse Flash stumbled back, clearly disoriented, and I took advantage of this momentary opening. I focused all my energy and determination into one final strike, channeling all the power I had collected from the people I had enslaved over the years.

As the blow landed, I felt a rush of energy flow through my body, and the Reverse Flash crumpled to the ground, defeated.

"Who are you?" said the Reverse Flash, confusion was written all over his face. "I can't move my legs, what's going on?"

I stepped forward, my eyes locked onto the villain's as I spoke. "That's because I hit your head too hard," I said, my voice calm and steady.

"How could a mere human like you hit me with such force?"

I smiled, my hands clenched into fists. "I am not just a mere human. "

"I can not let myself be defeated by a nobody!" said Reverse Flash.

Reverse Flash was struggling to get up, but he was unable to move his legs. He was shocked at how easily I had defeated him. "You fool," I said with a smirk on his face. "When you said that, you already unconsciously admitted defeat to me."

Reverse Flash was stunned by my words. He couldn't believe that he was being defeated by someone who was not even a hero. He didn't even know who I was.

As Reverse Flash lay defeated and vulnerable, I approached him with a sly grin on my face. I raised my hand and pointed it at him, ready to unleash the full power of my ability. I had been waiting for this moment for a long time, to finally be able to enslave the powers of someone as powerful as Reverse Flash.

I closed my eyes, focusing all of my energy on Reverse Flash. I felt the power flowing through my veins, the power that would soon belong to me. I opened my eyes, and there was a bright flash of light. When the light faded, Reverse Flash was lying on the ground, unconscious and powerless.

I looked down at my hand, feeling the power coursing through me. The powers of Reverse Flash were now mine, and I was stronger and faster than ever before.

As I walked away from the defeated Reverse Flash, I could feel the eyes of The Flash upon me. He was watching me, trying to figure out what had just happened. But I didn't care, I was too busy reveling in my newfound power.

As I took off, I noticed Flash was still stunned by the sudden turn of events. I looked back at him and said, "Just forget what happened today." I could see the confusion and shock in his eyes. But, I had no time to explain. I had a prize to claim and I couldn't let it slip away.

As I disappeared into the distance, I could hear Flash's voice behind me, "Who are you?" But I didn't answer, I couldn't let anyone know who I truly was. After all, Batman was likely watching the whole time, and I knew that he was one of the smartest and most dangerous individuals in the entire DC multiverse.

I took Reverse Flash with me, as I had just enslaved his powers and I couldn't let anyone else get him. The power of the speedster was now mine, and I planned on using it to my advantage.

As I ran, I could feel the immense power coursing through my veins. The speed was exhilarating, and I could feel my senses heightened. I had never felt so alive. The world was a blur, and I was moving so fast that I couldn't even see my surroundings. I was faster than I had ever been before, able to outrun anything and anyone in my path. I reveled in the rush of adrenaline as I raced through the city, feeling the wind rushing past me and the exhilaration of moving at such incredible speeds.

I finally came to a stop in a dark alleyway, far away from prying eyes. I let Reverse Flash go, which was now completely under my control. He couldn't resist my commands, and he wouldn't dare to even try.

I looked at him with satisfaction. I had finally achieved what I had been striving for all these years. I had become one of the most powerful beings in the universe, and no one could stop me.

"From now on, you'll do as I say," I said to the unconscious Reverse Flash, as I stood tall and proud. I had finally taken control of my destiny, and I would stop at nothing to achieve my goals. The world was will be mine for the taking, and I was ready to claim it.
