Talk with John

After they spent time introducing and knowing about each other it was already night time.

It seems not all of them sleep at night. Some of them stay awake to keep watch at the night.

Even after giving them extra food stuff and introducing himself to others most of them still didn't trust Kelvin and keeping an eye on him and Sara.

Though John and his group seems to put their trust on him.

Kelvin was in a corner of the basement with Sara.

Both of them were eating food as it was time for dinner.

A few moments after he finished eating Kelvin saw John and the two from his group coming towards him.

"Hey Kelvin, let me introduce you to my friends. He is Andrew and she is Iris. Andrew and Iris these two are Kelvin and Sara."

"It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." Said Kelvin.

Sara also nodded at them.

After that they sat down in front of Kelvin and Sara.

"So, if you don't mind, can I ask how are things are going on outside?" asked John.

"Well, I would say it is not safe outside. It is crowded with zombies outside. Though there are less zombies in the less populated place such as at highway or some countryside places."

"How are the people doing outside?"

"People outside are living a hellish life. You won't see amy normal person outside anymore. Though there will be some who dare to go outside rarely. At least we haven't encountered anyone other than you for a while." Said Kelvin.

Since the zombie apocalypse started people jave been hold up on there homes and don't come out unless ot is very important such as looking for food.

"What are the government doing? Why aren't they sending help?"

"Well, the military has taken the initiative to build a shelter a few days ago. I think they will start rescuing people soon enough."

"That's great!" exclaimed John.

A days ago Kelvin saw a news report in TV saying that military has taken the initiative to build shelters and rescue people. Thay said that they will start the rescue operation as soon as possible starting from the major cities where there are more zombies.

'Though I think that the military are being reckless as they are starting the rescue operation from the places where there are more zombies. If there goal is to save the humans from being extinct they should start with the places where there are less zombies. They will only go their own death as the things going now.'

Even if they manage to succeed and rescue people, Kelvin and Sara won't be going to shelters since they are no longer humans.

'I don't want the people to know about mine and Sara's special circumstance specially not the military. I don't want to be their lab rat.' though Kelvin.

"I think the military will come to rescue the people here in 2-3 days."

"I see."

John made the expression of relief learning that the military will come for the rescue.

"But you said that you will be leaving tomorrow right. Don't you want to go to the shelter."

"I don't plan to as of yet. I still have some other places to go."

It a half lie. Kelvin won't be going to the shelter later. But he still has many places to roam around.
