This was the last day of college and they have to submit their final project, Mahi was sitting in the library and was working on her laptop. Smarth came in and looked at Shipra and Nancy, he sat beside them and asked in a low tone, "What happened to pumpkin, why is she looking so frustrated?" "She is not able to finish her project that's why and today is the deadline for the final submission" Shipra replied in a concerned tone. Smarth got up and went towards Mahi and sat beside her, "What happened pumpkin? Why are you looking so frustrated?" he asked her playfully.

Mahi looked at him with puppy eyes and said, "This computer language is killing me, no matter how many times I have corrected the coding it's not running, I'm finished if I'll not finish my project today. I hate computers." Smarth chuckled at her behavior, he took the laptop and corrected her coding errors, "Here you go," he said with a smile and ruffled her hair. "You're the best," Mahi said with a smile and hugged him. "If you don't like computers then why do you take a computer major," he asked in a flat tone. "Because of Parth, he told me to take it," Mahi replied with a smile and email her project. She got up and looked at her friends "let's go, I'm starving," both girls got up from their seats, she looked towards Smarth but he took some books out of his and started reading them, you go I'm not hungry.

Mahi and her friends finished their lunch, she weaved to her friends and started to walk to meet her boyfriend as she reached near her class she saw Parth making out with Natasha, that was the last string of her patience, she dashed inside the room and pulled Natasha away from Parth and gave her a tight slap across her face, her face turned to another side because of the force Mahi put in the slap. Parth turned Mahi towards her and slapped her, "You bitch how dare you to slap her," he barked at her with full rage, "apologies to her, or I'm gonna leave you," he further said while gritting his teeth. Mahi was stunned by his behavior, tears were falling continuously from her eyes she started laughing like a manic and looked straight in his eyes, "You have cheated on me with this slut and still you have the audacity to say that you will leave me you asshole, I break up with you never show your disgusting face in front of my eyes, you two complement each other, I wish you both rot in hell," with that she ran out of the room.

It was downpouring and everyone had already left the college, Mahi was sitting on the swing in the playground and was looking nowhere, she was devasted, all those years were flashing in front of her eyes. She was feeling numb from the coldness and the pain inside her heart. In these five years of relation, she had invested a lot of emotions and sentiments, her mind was fuzzy and she could not think clearly.

Smarth was running out of the building covering his head with his bag because of the rain when his eyes fell on a figure, he halted in his place and looked towards the person who was sitting on the swing, "Mahi, what is she doing there, it's cold, is she out of her mind," he thought in his mind and ran towards her. When he reached near her he was shocked after looking at her, her hair was messy, there was a red mark on her cheek, her eyes were red and puffy, she was looking terrible.

Smarth's heart broke after looking at her love in such a state, he bend down to her level and said in her low and sweet voice, "Princess, what happened?" Mahi looked at him, tears again breamed in her eyes, she hugged him and started crying her heart out whereas Smarth was not able to understand what was the reason behind her breakdown. After crying for some time, Mahi pulled herself out of his embrace and looked at him, and said in her cracked voice, "I was so naive Smarth, I thought he loves me, he never loved me Smarth, he used me, all these years he just fooled me, we broke up," and again she started sobbing. Smarth pulled her in his arms and caressed her back, "let's go from here, it's really cold and you'll fall sick," he said as softly as he can he picked her up and started walking towards his car.

He put her inside the car and drove her home, on the way he called Mahir and told him everything when they reached Mahir was waiting for them, he went to her side and opened the passenger seat he held Mahi's hand and took her out of the car, they both started walking inside the house, as she entered her mother rushed towards her "what happened to her, Mahi looked at me why are you in this condition, please for god sake tell me?" their mother asked her out of concern. Mahi didn't answer any of her mother's questions and started walking towards her room, Mahi's mother looked towards Smarth and asked him exact questions, she will tell you herself when she will feel like telling you, Mahir looked towards him and said "Change your clothes, you will catch a cold," with that they started walking towards his room.

After drying himself and changing his clothes, Smarth sat on the couch in Mahir's room, Mahir gave him a cup of coffee and sat in front of him, "What happened to her?" Mahir asked in a concerned tone. Smarth narrate the whole incident to him, Mahir was burning in rage, "how could he touch her, I'll kill him, that son of a bitch," he barked angrily after listing about the whole incident.

Smarth calmed him down and got up from the sofa, "I'll take my leave now, take care of her, she is really heartbroken" Smarth said concernedly and exit his room. As he was heading down his eyes fell on Mahi who is sitting on the bed curling herself with the blanket and was looking nowhere. Smarth entered her room and sat in front of her and took her hand in his, he looked at her with a lot of love in his eyes, Mahi looked at him and felt warmth in her heart, there were no words but still, both of them can understand each other unspoken words.
