Rong Wei drove a brand-new Mercedes-Benz sedan, its level of luxury surely no less impressive than that of Du Wenqiang's vehicle.
As Rong Wei drove, Shu Guan sat in the co-pilot seat, the sedan speeding through the streets of Shen City.
It was clear that Rong Wei's mind was elsewhere, nearly hitting pedestrians several times. About twenty minutes after leaving Duolun Alley, he stopped outside a narrow alley.
Peering through the car window, Shu Guan caught a glimpse of the road sign at the entrance of the alley. It read "Huifang Lane," a place as secluded and quiet as Duolun Alley.
Rong Wei stopped the car at the entrance to the alley but did not immediately get out. Instead, he turned to Shu Guan with a sheepish smile and said,
"Brother-in-law, I suddenly don't feel like dining with those friends anymore. How about we leave? I'll treat you to eight treasure duck at Dexing Restaurant."
"We're already here, let's just stay here."
Shu Guan said with a smile.
