"Uncle... Why?" A boy named Liang Feng asked, as he watched his uncles pull out his sword from his chest.
"A waste like you actually came out of my sister." The man scoffed.
"How could you tarnish the House of Liang's name, and not even have the power to kill?" He then looked at his other subordinates.
"You have all failed me as well. You've been wasting your lives away." He turned around and left the boy on the ground, dying.
"I will... kill... you..." Liang Feng's eyes darkened as he tried to get up.
"Don't worry. I'll let you rest easy now." Another figure, clad in a red and black robe, walked into the room. He raised his hand, and a flame erupted, engulfing the dying body, and burning the corpse to dust.
The red and black-robed figure turned to the man who stabbed Liang Feng.
"Our deal is done." He said, his voice distorted.
"It is. Now I ask for you to keep your promise." The man responded.
"That I will."
"Then go."
"Of course." The red and black-robed figure replied, before vanishing.
"Uncle. Why are you helping those people? Weren't they our enemy?" A boy spoke. He had brown hair and was wearing the same robes as the other Liang Family members.
"It's for the better. Those fools think they're strong enough to stand against them..." The man laughed, as if what he just said was amusing.
While the two chatted and left the house that the bot Liang Feng lived in, a being that looked just like Liang Feng opened its eyes.
'Hmm, where is this? Shouldn't I be dead' It wondered, looking around.
[Congratulations to the host for becoming a robot!]
The sudden voice caught the 'Liang Feng' off-guard.
'Who are you?' Liang Feng shouted, but no words came out.
[I am your personal assistance. you can call me Lori.]
'Lori... Strange name.' Liang Feng thought.
"So Lori, what's going on?"
[Host, you died and became one of the puppets you made that looked like yourself. With the system's help, I made it so your body is like that of a robot!]
"This... What is a robot?" Liang Feng couldn't understand the word.
[A robot is an artificial construct built by humans. They are able to perform simple tasks and are often used as slaves. In your world, however, a robot is an extremely rare artifact. The puppet body I gave you can do everything a normal human body can, but can also do many more things that humans can't.]
"Amazing... This is truly amazing!" Liang Feng exclaimed, feeling excitement for the first time in his life.
"So, can I finally cultivate?" He asked, remembering that his talent was low, so he couldn't cultivate, and the only thing he was ever good at was creating puppets. But now, since he's a robot, could he cultivate?
His question was soon answered by the system.
[Yes, would you like to analyze all the information about cultivation?]
"Of course!"
Suddenly, all the times that Liang Feng tried to cultivate poured into his head, but it was the correct way and even improvements.
"Incredible..." He whispered.
After learning everything he needed, Liang Feng started to cultivate. Sitting crossed-legged, he absorbed the spiritual energy.
After 10 minutes, he was about to give up, until something happened.
The spiritual energy started flowing faster and faster, until it was practically gushing into Liang Feng's body.
'This is... Incredible! I'm a genius!'
After cultivating for an hour, Liang Feng stood up and felt the changes in his body. Clenching his fist, he smashed it against the wall, making it explode into pieces.
"Huh, this isn't something someone at the first stage of Qi Refinement should have the power to do..." Liang Feng looked at the hole he created.
"Lori, what's going on?" Liang Feng asked.
[As a being made out of metal that was enhanced by me; your body is ten times stronger than any other humans.]
"Really? Then I'll make sure to put it to good use."
Liang Feng left the house, and the moment he did, the building collapsed, due to the hole on the wall.
"Hmph, I don't need this place anymore." Liang Feng sneered, looking at the falling rubble.
Liang Feng decided that his first target would be his uncle, the one who killed him, but first he should head off to the Demon Sect that runs the five families.
[Host, before you go, grab your other puppets.]
"Hmm? why? They're just a bunch of scrapped junk." Liang Feng wondered, looking at the metallic puppets. Puppets are normally made out of humans, but they're easily destroyed, so the art of puppetry died a long time ago.
[You can give them a conciseness and control them, making real metallic puppets!]
Liang Feng was surprised, he never considered doing that, nor did he know he could do that.
"Alright, but can I make them have a conciseness similar to me?" Liang Feng asked, not wanting to control another person.
"And if I can't, then can you make their conciseness so they don't have any thoughts of their own, and are merely loyal?"
Liang Feng asked, not wanting the puppets he made to go wild, but if the puppets have no conciseness, they can be destroyed if they went out of control.
[Yes and no. I cannot give the puppets a consciousness like you, but they can execute commands that are given.]
"Perfect."
Liang Feng controlled his other puppet bodies to get up, and walk outside.
'Now then, time for the Demon Sect to get a little surprise.' Liang Feng smiled as he started to walk out of the town with his other metallic bodies.
'Actually, let's hide them for now.' thinking this, he took out a storage ring that his uncle didn't take and put the three puppets into the ring.
"Heh, Uncle, your mistake will cost you greatly."
Liang Feng then continued on his way towards the Demon Sect.
'First I'll get back at the Liang family, and then use all the resources to fund my research on puppetry.'
Liang Feng's eyes were cold as he continued on his path of revenge.
'Hehehe, this is the start of the new era!'
