This time I didn't let off and followed with a spit attack, which also missed, but completed its purpose by buying me some time to spin around and attack with my tail.
I managed to hit its blind spot successfully and my tail connects with the back of its head.
The blow tosses the little thing tens of meters away, but I stay vigilant.
Luckily I did, as not even two seconds after it landed on the ground, a white beam shot in my direction.
With a short sidestep I dodge the attack and charge forward, once I cross half of the distance between us, I fire a new shot of burning liquid at it.
The liquid hit a white shield and starts burning it at fast peace.
Shortly after, I crash with my horned head into the white barrier and shatter it.
The small thing jumps to the side and charges up a white energy ball in its mouth.
I dig my leg into the ground and shift my tail on collision course with the thing.
My tail connects with the energy ball and detonates it before the thing was able to throw it.
The explosion costs me half of my blade on the tail but it was worth it because the thing got thrown away and brock its jaw.
Not letting it rest, I immediately follow up with a dash and gaping maw.
Confused and disoriented by the explosion and the pain, the thing didn't manage to see me coming in time and could only stare into my mouth full of teeth's and a crimson tongue.
I have grown to stay prepared in the fight against this dangerous creature, so I also eject a big amount of burning liquid and change my momentum so that even if the thing takes control over my body, I still crash against it.
Prepared for the last struggle of this fearful thing I accelerate even more.
The thing immediately encases itself in a white barrier and starts charging up a new energy ball in its now slack jawed mouth.
The burning liquid collides with the barrier first and weakens it a bit, then my teeth's close around the barrier and cracks form immediately.
Against my powerful bite force the barrier barley holds half a second and then shatters into many light particles.
Now without and obstacles in the way my teeth's dig into the small body of the little thing and draw blood.
But before I manage to close my mouth completely and crush the little thing into past, a feeling of danger comes over me.
A ball of energy blasts out of the slack jawed mouth of the dangerous creature and aims at my throat.
It would be very dangerous if this attack hit and tore a hole through my spine, so I move the rest of my energy to the location where the attack is going to hit and hope that it will prevent the worst.
The impact followed instantly, and I feel how my blood and flesh gets destroyed by the white energy.
Once it reaches halfway to the bone, my energy finally intercepted the attack and begins to devour it.
With two energy's fighting inside my throat for dominance, I wasn't able to fully concentrate on my surroundings and got caught of guard by the sudden attack from my left.
An arrow pierces into my left shoulder and informs me of the new enemy.
I ignore the attack for now and bite down on the prey inside my mouth which crushed it into past.
The fight between the energy's also finishes and I survive with half of my spine left.
To maximize my chances against the new threat I immediately swallow the thing and turn my focus to the newcomer.
He is a man with dark skin and wears dark green leather armor, he also has a bow in his hand and a sword on his hip.
Short black hair on the head and two piercing green eyes directed at me, but he also has two long pointy ears which probably means that he is some kind of elve.
From his previous attack I confirm that he is strong enough to harm me and in turn classify him as a threat.
Just as he notches another arrow in his bow, I feel a short rush of energy from my stomach and the presence of a new blueprint.
I stand up to my full high of two meters and grab the arrow that hit my left should, with a short jerk I pull out the arrow.
Then I focus on the newly gained energy and create the earthen heart again, the reason for this is that I noticed that the arrow only managed to scrape my bones and not pierce them, so I assume that with the additional boost of the earthen heart the arrows wont be much of a threat anymore.
Still, I wont just let him hit me to test it out, so I tilt my head to the right and dodge the incoming arrow.
The elven hunter got slightly surprised by my fast reaction and paused for a short moment which I use and dash in his direction.
My tail swing behind me, its blade already healed just like the wound on my shoulder and the damaged spine, although I still fell slight pain coming from my throat.
