Breaking Point

The bus ride to the city Shila football club resided in was cold and silent, it was a Saturday afternoon and usually the team would be singing, making jess, laughing. But not today, everyone seemed to mind their business. 

The weather was chill and the sunlight was warm on their skins as they alighted the bus and walked into the stadium and into the locker room. 

As Kim Na Na explained the tactics, she seemed calm like the surface of the sea just before daybreak. While some listened to her, others like Ji Sung Lee avoided her gaze, Horata sat quietly at the back, arms folded, watching with an air of disdain.

 The captain was the most focuses out of everyone, it was as if he was making a mental note of everything the young woman was saying. Yet the truth hung above them all, they lost woefully the last time they played without Sung Min. Even though she won the most votes, majority in the room still doubted she could win the game without Lee Sung Min.
