Chapter 43 Checking out Camelot?

Amazingly, she was not dead. To Lilis surprise, she was not executed for supposedly wetting the queen's bed. But instead the busty Queen Wilda and she had quite a nice time together in the bath.

And speaking of which, the bathroom or at least this one was quite big. It was built in a Roman style, so that it was basically like a swimming pool that was being heated up by an underground hot spring. Around the pool there were many columns and outside the bathroom were two maids standing by.

To Lili this was quite a unique experience since she had never visited such a place in her past life. And for her body in this life, this was probably the best and most comfortable experience she had managed to experience so far.

In the company of this kind and busty Queen she could even manage to feel herself starting to relax. She was almost fully capable of closing her eyes and falling into a deep slumber, but sadly she couldn't, not just yet.

While she might have been in a great situation now, her mother wasn't. She could still feel Accalias light stone in the well, where she had last seen her. She could only imagine the uncertainty and worry Accalia might have been feeling while she waited for her in the well.

With this in mind, Lili forced herself to stay awake and alert. She needed to find away to get some food delivered to her mom as soon as possible. In time Accalia could start to use the greenhouse to feed herself, but for now it was all up to Lili. And so for the moment she tried not to say too much and just answer whatever questions the busty Queen might have had for her.

Oh and, speaking of the Queen, Lili actually found her to be quite peculiar. Despite her being a thin busty blonde, with those massive mounds floating in the water, Lili for whatever reason didn't get even the slightest bit aroused by this sight. Sure she knew that she was not a boy no more, but a girl, but nonetheless she had expected herself to feel something indecent towards the good looking woman, but no. At best she felt great admiration towards the woman and her mature physique.

Despite the woman's mature age, she hardly had any wrinkles, gray hair, saggy boobs or other signs of aging. All in all the woman actually appeared to be maybe in her late twenties.

Because of this she had asked her about it, but when asked the woman had merely laughed at her and assured her that she was already over 45. This confused Lili greatly, how was such a thing possible here in this medieval world. Did her magic maybe make the woman look younger or did she already look like so. But as she was admiring the Queen's physique, that's when the questions started coming in.

Lili had prepared herself to be telling her whole life's story to this woman, but surprisingly it never went there. Instead all the questions were about the boy named Art for some reason.

At first the Queen asked her to describe Arts appearance to the best of her knowledge. A strange question, but an easy question for Lili. In this life Lili luckily had a great memory, plus Art was quite a memorable individual so Lili easily was able to give her a perfect description of him and his arrogant personality.

Then the question turned quite specific, she was suddenly even asked to describe the small finer details of the boy. Like the size of him and the perfect shapes and patterns of his abs. Lili found this to be quite strange, but who was she to question a Queen, plus she was more than happy to speak about it since she knew them quite well.

The whole batch of questions felt like a test to her, a test that strangely made her feel a bit, well a bit hot for some reason. Slowly but surely as she went on with her description of him and thought more about it, her face started to slowly heat up for some reason and she felt a bit aroused? Or well that's what she thought that she felt like, but surely not. Why would she feel like so about Art, after all wasn't Art her friend?

Almost immediately after thinking of this she started to stammer over her words and became completely unable to look the Queen in the eye anymore. Because of this she didn't see it clearly, but she could feel that the Queen was for some reason constantly smiling smugly at her. It felt like she was being teased by the Queen, but why?

After that they went on to talk about the short few encounters she had with Art. Lili tried to sensor a few finer details of the first encounter, like the spanking bit. But the Queen was sharp and persistent and so Lili was forced to spill the beans on all that had happened between the two.

While at it, Lili made sure to avoid speaking of herself being enslaved. Instead she said that she went on an adventure with a group of 4 brothers and Robin and that was why she never had gotten to see Art again. To her this was not really a lie, it was merely a censored version of what had happened.

In Lilis mind telling the Queen about herself being enslaved would not be smart. If she spoke of it, then she would be forced to tell her that she was actually an escaped slave and basically a criminal. And so she needed to keep her mouth shut and so she did.

Luckily the Queen didn't press her on this point even though there was clearly doubt in the Queen's eyes. Instead the Queen said.

"So, this boy named Art. Do you like him?"

This caught Lili off guard. Her face immediately flushed red for some reason as she then looked to the Queen and said.

"Wa WA what, what do you mean?"

The Queen got closer to her and teasingly said.

"Ooh you don't have to hide it from me Lili. The way you described his personality, his confident demiener and that tall and strong body of his, all this tells me that you must have paid quite special attention to him while you met. You might have been quite young back then, but surely you felt something special towards him. Something that you have not felt towards anyone else ever since. A feeling that you feel even now whenever you think of him."

Lili not knowing what to say just said what first came into her mind as she started rambling out her thoughts.

"Ummmm, well yeah, of course I like him. His my friend after all. Although his face does kind of piss me off whenever I think about it. I can't quite explain it. But Its like whenever I think of that arrogant smile of his, it really drives me crazy. My body starts to feel all hot and bothered, its like there are butterflies in my stomach or something and my face gets all red. It's just so infuriating, plus the way he humiliated me last time was way too much. Oh how I would like to restle him to the ground and give him a piece of my mind. Damn, when next I see him, I swear that it's him who will be feeling the heat. Oh, no wait is that strange?"

After saying these words the Queen suddenly started giggling as she gave Lili a hug and said.

"Hihihi, oh Lili, don't you worry about it. It's perfectly normal to feel that way towards a guy that you really like."

Queen Wildas words struck Lili hard. Her heart skipped a beat and started beating like crazy, her body felt hot and her thoughts were full of memories and the dreams that she had been having of Art. Lili didn't quite understand it, this was definitely not something that she had ever felt towards any friend of his before. This felt different, it felt like that other thing, but no. Surely it couldn't be that, could it.

Thankfully these strange thoughts about Art soon came to an end as a few maids came to give them their new clothes. Quickly climbing out of the bath Lili took the white night gown and black leather laced up shoes that she was given. And damn did it feel good to her, the fabric actually felt extremely nice against her naked skin. Although the night gown did appear to be a bit short as it only came down above her knees and hugged her body a bit.

The Queens night gown on the other hand went all the way down to her heels and was quite loose and big. But nonetheless Lili wasn't complaining, she merely found it to be a bit revealing, but oh well.

For the first time in this life she actually had proper clothes. For this she was extremely thankful to the Queen and was sure to express her gratitude to her.

But once more the Queen merely laughed and lightly brushed off her thanks as she said.

"No need to thank me child. For those clothes were specifically made for the Princes future bed maid as was all the other clothes that are waiting for you in his chambers. I hope you like them, for the prince himself went through great lengths to get those clothes made for you. Of course he only helped design them, but nonetheless you should give you're thanks to him when you see him. Hihihi."

Hearing this Lili was taken aback. It truly looked like her position here was special, she was actually going to have her very own work clothes. It appeared that she wouldn't be like the maids in appearance, but something more special. But what did the Queen mean by saying that the clothes were designed for her? These clothes were clearly too small for her, surely the gown should have been more like the queens, surely.

Nonetheless she didn't question this at all as she still couldn't quite wrap her head around all this that was happening here. Why was she being treated so nicely, like she was a part of the family. Even the maids acted extremely caringly and respectfully towards her. All of this was so very strange to her, but she for sure wasn't complaining. Instead she just decided to go with the flow and follow whatever it was that the Queen wished of her.

After that they went a few floors down and arrived at a small dining room with a city that overlooked the dark white city below. From here she could even see the lights of the white harbour city in the distance. And that's when she realised where she actually was.

She was in a huge castle that appeared to be standing upon a very tall hill. They were almost at the very top of the castle and down below she could see what looked like the main section of the castle with two layers of walls defending it. Between the two defensive walls there appeared to be some structures and many long grassy horse pens. And on the right there was a winding road that seemed to be leading to the top of the castle, where the so-called gardens were. Overall the place was huge and filled with guards that seemed to be patrolling around in groups of two.

Seeing all of this Lili couldn't help but say.

"Oh my god, we are so high up. Ooh and just look at the moon, it looks so clear and bright. Ugh, and look at those guards down there at the walls, they look like ants. Hihihi, I feel like I'm the king of the world up here, hihihi."

From behind Lili, Queen Wilda then spoke casually as she then said.

"Well yes, this is the royal castle of Camelot after all. Did it not look like so from down below?"

To this Lili without thinking said.

"Oh, well this is actually my first time seeing it. Ooh what's that big pointy structure over there."

Coming to Lilis side Wilda lightly placed her hand on Lilis head and looked to where she was pointing and said.

"Thats the grand Cathedral of Albion. It's usually the first place that people like to go and visit whenever they arrive here in Camelot. It gets a lot of tourists from all around the world yearly."

While the Queen was saying this her words for some reason sounded sorrowful. Alarmed by this Lili looked to the Queen and immediately noticed the sadness upon her face. It almost looked like the Queen was on the verge of tears, but why Lili couldn't understand.

Standing next in the doorway she could also see sir John with a sad expression. And, there were also two maids setting up the table and even they held sad expressions on their faces as they did their work. What was going on here, why were all the people here suddenly looking so sad.

In worry Lili pulled on the Queens night gown and looked up at her as she said.

"What's wrong, why do you all look so sad? I'm sorry if I did something wrong, I I didn't mean to? Maybe if you could tell me then I could try and make it right."

The Queen crouched down and easily picked Lili up into her embrace as she then lightly brushed away Lilis long hair that covered her face and then softly said.

"Oh sweetie, don't talk like that. You have done nothing wrong and have nothing to apologise for. It's me as this nations Queen that should be asking you for your forgiveness instead."

Lili felt absolutely baffled by this. What was the Queen speaking about. She didn't know and so just remained in silence as she was carried to a chair and then set down.

In front of her on the table she noticed a silver bowl with delicious smelling and looking fish stew of some kind. And there next to the bowl was actual silver wear, a silver spoon and a knife.

She could only guess that in this place these people probably didn't use such things as wood as plates or cutlery. Even the table seemed to be of some extremely fine craftsmanship and expensive.

She wanted to immediately dig in, her stomach was already growling from the delicious smell of it, but she didn't dare. With the cane brothers it was usually the brothers who ate first, Lili just served and made the food. And only after everyone else had eaten would she be allowed to eat. Plus she had to show some manners in front of these wealthy people. She wanted to make sure that these people didn't take her for some common slave, or a barbarian of some kind. She had to keep up appearances for her and her mother's sake.

So with this logic in mind, Lili remained still as she slightly glanced at the Queen. The woman was already blowing slightly and elegantly at her food, clearly ready to dig in. It seemed that this might take some time and so she waited with slight drool in her mouth.

Then the Queen's eyes landed upon Lili. Lili showed the Queen a happy smile and the Queen did the same as she asked.

"It's not too hot now is it Lili?"

Shaking her head Lili said.

"No its good and smells delicious too, thank you."

After saying this the Queen took a spoon full of the stew and elegantly with one hand covering her mouth she swallowed it down. The sight made Lili gulp down her drool, she too wanted some. But no, she would not be tempted by it, she had to stay pure, plus it had not been that long since she had eaten one of those chocolate bars.

Then slowly but surely the Queen started to eat more and more. She seemed hungry, Lili could only guess, but most likely her healing magic had revived the Queen's hunger. She probably hadn't eaten much of anything before this and so now she was starwing.

While watching her, Lili made sure to make mental notes of the woman's way of eating. Once she got permission to eat she should then also eat like so.

Then from next to the door one of the maids, a woman with gray hair could be heard making a fake cough, as she said.

"Cough cough cough, your highness."

The Queen stopped her feasting, turned to the old maid, noticed her nodding towards Lili. Then the Queen turned to Lili and raised an eyebrow at her.

Lili didn't know what to say, she just looked to the maid and then back to the Queen. Seeing this the Queen then said.

"What's wrong Lili?"

Confused by this Lili, tried to copy the maids way of speaking as she said.

"Mmm, What do you mean your highness?"

Why was she being asked such questions, she hadn't done anything wrong, had she? At least she definitely didn't say anything wrong this time, right?

But almost immediately a worried expression came to the Queen's face as she said.

"Oh no, Lili please, you don't have to address me like so. Just call me aunt Wilda or just Wilda. Now please feel at ease and enjoy your food."

This time the Queen didn't look away and kept on staring at Lili in anticipation. But Lili just looked at the food and nothing more.

While enslaved by the Kane brothers they too had told her many times to enjoy the food, as they then proceeded to laugh at her. In the Kane brothers minds the words please feel free to enjoy your food, merely meant that she was allowed to enjoy the sight of them eating the food that she had made. These words were nothing but a way of humiliating her, and so she stayed strong and waited. She wasn't foolish enough to just straight up trust the words that this Wilda woman said to her.

Lilis antics quickly made the Queen Wilda greatly worried again as she took a hold of Lilis hand and asked.

"What's wrong Lili."

To this Lili honestly just said.

"Hmm, nothing is wrong, Aunt Wilda? I'm ok."

Wilda was seemingly confused by this behaviour of Lili, as she then said.

"Well why aren't you eating? Its going to get cold soon if you don't eat it."

Shaking her head Lili said.

"Mmm, but aunt Wilda, you haven't finished your food yet."

Now everyone in the room seemed confused as Queen Wilda then said.

"What do you mean Lili? Why would you have to wait for me to finish eating first?"

With one eyebrow raised Lili now looked unsure as she hesitantly said.

"Mmm, well isn't it, mmm common manners to let your superiors eat before you? One should only eat once the boss is fully done with his meal and in need of no more. Like so there is still food left for the boss to eat if he is still hungry."

Once more the Queen and the maids were left speechless. It seemed that the this concept was truly foreign to them and not used around here.

After realising this Lili hurriedly asked .

"Umm is that not normal here in Camelot?"

Queen Wilda quickly then composed herself and gave Lili a light assuring smile as said.

"No, Lili that's not a tradition that we here in Albion follow. Usually only sla. Or well let's just forget about it ok. Feel free to eat your meal Lili. Here in Camelot families always eat their meals together."

Once more Lili felt quite embarrassed at her misunderstanding of the traditions of this world. Without further disruptions she then started to eat with gusto. The meal was probably the best she had ever before had in this world. And what made it even better was that she was actually eating it with a silver spoon, instead of a wooden spoon, and so there was no taste of wood upon her mouth.

After the meal Lili was given an option to either go check out her own room or simply continue to sleep with the Queen. But to the Queen's great sadness Lili decided to go and check out her own room.

With the help of the old maid Lili was then escorted to her own rooms door which was just down the hall from the Queen's room, which would make her plans harder to make into reality. But nonetheless Lili before entering the room managed to convince the old woman into bringing her a small sack full of food for the night.

Now all she had to do was get the sack in her hands, sneak past John who stood down the hall on guard duty, then she would sneak past the other guards who were guarding the other halls and lastly go outside to the garden and drop the sack of food to Accalia in the well.

But first she needed to check out the princes room and see what kind of an amazingly comfy bed it might have.
