———

Ekaku immediately puked.

I frown, the sundial slowed a little, but then sped up again.

"You treat humans as nothing more than your toys," I address him. "But you can't handle seeing blood when it means you are about to come to harm? You are a pretty garbage person, huh?"

"S-Stay away!"

"Maz has the knife, don't you think should be asking him to stay away?"

"W-What?" He asked, as if he couldn't process that a 'child' was the one threatening his life.

"I have a question, Ekaku, do you truly believe that you are important to these people you have abused and treated like shit ever since they were born?" I ask, also trying to convince Maz to kill him.

"I…"

"You intentionally starved the men and raped the women, didn't you?"

"N-No-"

Maz looked angry. "Where is the real Ekaku?! Ekaku could do magical things!"

"…"

I continue pushing. "You killed the previous chief, didn't you?"

"…"

I smile; my bluff was correct! "You killed your own father, didn't you? He was the Ekaku people worshipped, yes?" If the bluff didn't work, I would still push on it to get Maz to kill him, but the fact that Ekaku stayed silent means he did kill the previous chief and took his name. Continuing from that, the only way he would get the position then is if it was his father as old civilizations passed down leadership through the family!

"I used to worship you, Ekaku. Now, I believe that Lord Matthias is the only one fit to rule this tribe."

He walked slowly. Ekaku struggled to move away but immediately fell over from his fat, face first into the dirt and stone floor.

Ekaku couldn't even turn around to look at Maz as his fat restrained him, his own body betraying him, his own actions betraying him.

Maz jumped onto his back, which immediately caused him to sink into his flesh.

Maz rose the knife, as the first sacrifice to the God of Time, was made.

———

"Are you alright, Maz?"

Blood was everywhere, as well as strange whitish yellow fat all over the floor. Black specks lay everywhere, where the obsidian knife chipped off a little. The ripped apart corpse of what looked like a bloated human lay open, as if it was opened like a bag of chips.

"Y-Yes, I am alright, Lord Matthias." He replied, slightly shakily while holding two severed ears.

"You don't need to lie, Maz, I understand if you are feeling conflicted about killing him."

Maz stayed silent for a moment, then smiled. "I was right! You are perfect to be chief! You care about us!"

I smile in return, even though he can't see it, he knows, as the sundials shadows slowed back to their original time and speed. "I actually plan on making this 'Tribe' into a Theocracy. Do you know what that is?"

He shook his head. "I have never heard of it."

"Simple, we first make a church! That church will rule instead! You and I, as the apostle and God of the church will make two of the three head decisions. A Pope will make the third, then, a government will be formed through priests and cardinals. Do you know what those are?"

He shook his head again. "No."

I smile. "Let me explain…"

And so we started the path to create something amazing, the first rising 'kingdom' of this planet's history, The Theocracy of Time, or the name we decided on, Kurokkutaun. For ease of word, we plan on introducing it as Kutaun and only have it as Kurokkutaun in official papers.

'I have to admit, explaining all of my plans to Maz took a little while and a little difficult, but he seems to like it and understand!' I think to myself as Maz looks around for a stone so we can create a language for the Theocracy. A puking noise was heard a few doors away, as they clean the corpse of something not so desirable.

"Lord Matthias, is this really necessary? I don't think we need a language…"

"A language may not seem so necessary now, but this has the future of a legendary country, we need a language without a doubt. Besides, I already have the perfect language for us, 'English'."

"English? Whats that?"

"The name of a written language we God's used to use, it's simple enough that it won't hurt humans and it's vast enough that people can make new words when it's necessary!"

Maz sweat drops. "Godly languages can hurt humans?"

I smile. "Don't worry about it, Haha…"

"How does the language work?" He continues on.

"It is an alphabet of 26, each having an 'Uppercase' and a 'Lowercase' form. You know what an alphabet is right?"

He shook his head.

I laugh jokingly. "I guess I have a lot to teach this village before we can turn it into a country…"

———

Maz sat on the floor, trying to memorize the alphabet that I had him write down stroke by stroke with something resembling chalk on the stone. It took a long while due to him not originally knowing the alphabet and me having to coach him through on writing it, but he got there in the end.

While he does that, the sundial sits on a wooden log which seems to have been used as a chair before now. Currently, I am thinking about what laws I should and need to implement.

'… Should I just copy American law?' I think to myself, realizing how hard this is.

'How about these five laws to start with;

-

1, Everyone is equal, discrimination on others due to any reason, such as their personal opinion, how they look, their gender, or what they believe in is forbidden, even though this is a theocracy of The God of Time.

2, Everyone has rights as a human being, such as rights to privacy, rights to bear arms, and the rights to withhold information. Violations of these rights can and will be retaliated by the person whos rights are being violated. Violations of these rights will put you in a court of law for trial.

3, Everyone has the right to a fair trial. Trials will be conducted personally by The God of Time for the foreseeable future.

4, Violence against your peers will not be tolerated and can and will put you in a court of law for trial.

5, Laws can be made by the Church of Kutaun and forced if necessary, but if the law is not 100% necessary for the success of the country, it shall be put to a vote by the people. If the law passed is not required for the countries success, the people may vote to remove the law. The law will then be looked at by a court of law to give a final look before termination.

-

I sigh as I finally put these laws together in my mind. 'Looks good for a start. I am sure more problems will occur, but for now, this is definately a start.'

"Lord Matthias! I think I memorized them."

I smile. "Perfect, Maz!" I praise him, genuinely proud as it took me a week.

He grins.

"Maz, do you think we are ready to announce all of this to the people?"

"I think that delaying it won't make it better."

"Then let's finish all of this up, so we can become the first country this world has seen!"

"Alright!" He pumps his arm in the air, cutely, reminding me that he is still, just a kid.

I smile.
