Chapter 1: The Beginning

The sun sets above the horizon of the ocean. Staining the sky an amber color. Enzo makes his way to the tip of the peak to witness the sun set on his final day of training.

"It's been five years since that day…. I guess it's about time I head back."

The soft touch of the wind gently brushes against his long blonde hair, exposing parts of his forehead. The light red color of his eyes, glistens in contact with the sun. His clothes dance to the tune of the wind, as his skin reflects the shade of the sun. The grass joins, and soon the rest of the peak assumes order. The soft spoken tune of the breeze is soon interrupted by the calls of the animals, in the surrounding area. Enzo pauses, and gently takes a seat at the edge of the cliff. His thoughts drift to the memory of his mother.

"I bet mother is very angry with me"

He sighs from the thought of her. Enzo laughs at the memory of his mother lecturing him about the importance of safety. His mother was a strong beautiful lady. She would always sacrifice her time to provide for her family. Working two full time jobs strained her mentally and physically. Enzo knew this and worked hard at being the man of the house. Although she was hard on Enzo for being the oldest, he knew that it was out of love. Then, he starts reminiscing about his past. He remembers the beautiful smile of his little sister Ariel. She was only Ten at the time, and he was twelve. Her hair was a caramel color that reached towards the middle of her back, and sparkled when in contact with the sun. She had light brown eyes that could mesmerize anyone that looked into them. She was an intelligent little girl that made everyone around her proud. Yet, she was taken from us.
