BAM!
CRACK!!
"Haha, do you truly think space can stop time?!" Zaman shouted toward Spade after sending the latter flying into a mountain. Zaman's short white hair glittered as his eyes didn't have any pupils.
This was his Elemental State's most powerful form, and he used it well to completely nullify the Space user Spade.
Even though Spade controlled the space in the surrounding 100 kilometers, and even though he was able to sense any ripple in the air, he was still finding it soo troublesome to simply evade the attacks of this Zaman.
'Th...This opponent of mine... He's soo powerful, he reminds me of Liam...' This thought brought the image of the attractive Liam to Spade's mind. The figure who he had been claiming to be his rival for such a long time.
Spade's eyes gleamed with unease. If he were to be defeated here, how could he ever look at Liam in the face? He knew for a fact that Liam would win his round. Why? It was simply because Liam was just that strong in Spade's eyes...
And a defeat to this nobody would only solidify the truth, which was that Spade wasn't anywhere near the power which Liam possessed. It was a truth, and Spade knew, but he still refused to believe it.
Tsk!
BOOM!
Spade shot out of the rubble as he released his domain, instantly, as if teleporting, he appeared in front of Zaman, sending a fist coated in energy towards Zaman's face. His pupilless eyes and fully black sclera with many sparkling dots proved that he had wasted no time in transforming into his elemental state.
BAM!
A powerful punch sent a figure spiraling down to the ground.
BOOM!
And it was a massive explosion that easily destroyed the road that separated the two mountains on either side, caused by the contact with this figure's body. Yet, contrary to one's expectation, it wasn't Zaman who had crashed into the ground, but instead Spade!
Even though he had released his domain, it still didn't matter. Even though he was confident in defeating Zaman after releasing his domain, Zaman proved to be many times much more powerful than initially thought.
"Oh, did you think that by teleporting in front of me instantly, I would be left shocked, and frozen in fear?!" Zaman questioned with a belittling tone and an arrogant smile. Placing his right hand on his waist, and outstretching his left hand to point toward Zaman, he said.
"No matter how hard you try, your defeat is inevitable. The only chance you had, was at the start of our battle..."
"If you had killed me at the beginning then and only then would you have the chance of defeating me..."
"Now, even one of my abilities alone is enough to deal with you!" Zaman was soo confident he saw no harm in revealing that he had more than one ability.
Grrrrr!!
Spade, who was beaming in anger gritted his teeth while once more standing to his feet. What he hated the most were people who trampled on the weak, and this Zaman was obviously one to trample on the weak. Even though he perceived that Spade had no chance of winning, he still intended to play with him...
But, even though he revealed wrath on the outside, inside he had still not lost hope whatsoever. This type of person reveled in the feeling of absolute dominance, something similar to Saber, so revealing a level of uncontrollable rage toward this person, would fuel their sense of achievement.
Because of this, there was still a chance for Spade to win this battle. Realizing that Zaman was too arrogant to even release his domain, this caused Spade to viciously smile internally as he shouted in his mind...
"CHAIN!!"
Immediately, the space surrounding Zaman began shaking as out of seemingly nowhere, black chains, many tens of chains made their appearance.
Sensing this, Zaman sneered coldly and with a sword that appeared in the palm of his left hand, he slashed at the chains that approached him!
CLANG!!
The chains all rebounded as if they had impacted into an impenetrable object!
"Do you really think your petty abilities can harm me?!" Zaman said. "I merely allowed you to attack me since I wanted to see what your weak self can come up with." Yet, as he said those words, all of a sudden, a crazed smile broke out on Spade's face.
"Haha, and don't you think you're underestimating my abilities a little too much?!" Immediately, making their appearance were hundreds of black chains that wrapped around Zaman's hands, legs, torso, and neck!
"Now... It's time I cut down this arrogance of yours..." Sinisterly appearing in front of Zaman through a portal, Spade then raised his two fists similar to a boxer of modern times.
It seemed he was prepared to pummel Zaman before actually killing him. Spade was after all confident that there wasn't a possibility where one can escape from those chains that had one constrained in space.
It simply wasn't possible since those chains were something intangible, as they were the embodiment of space itself.
BOOM!
Spade sent a powerful punch capable of obliterating even the tallest of mountains, toward Zaman's face.
"Huh?!" Spade uttered in confusion... "Don't tell me-*BOOM!!*"
*BAM!*
For the second time, Spade had been sent flying into a mountain..!
"Yes, I am able to move..." Zaman said, as his figure remained floating in the skies while supposedly constrained by hundreds of chains.
"As I've said before, no matter how hard you try, your defeat is inevitable. Did you think I was joking, or that it was my arrogance..?" Zaman continued. "The first time I punched you, some of my energy penetrated your body... At that moment the battle was settled. No matter what you do, I can see it every time. Your intentions, I can read it any time, and your future, I can watch it if I want..."
With an evil smirk that would make even Saber proud, Zaman said while opening his right palm...
"You're nothing more than an insect, no, even an insect might escape, but you... Haha, you don't even have that ability..."
"You're every move is playing right into my trap because I've already seen your intentions and futures. I've already counter every possible solution for you, and even the things you haven't thought off but can do, I've countered it all..."
As he said so, his body began fading while another one formed in front of Spade.
"What you fought before, it was merely Time Clone. And just like your chain which was an embodiment of space, this clone was an embodiment of my time..."
"So even though your chains are normally intangible to normal physical entities, to my clone, it was simply another piece of iron."
The demoralized Spade couldn't even move, and without even knowing how his mind had turned blank.
...
...
...
"Oh, you all have already awakened. Did you win?" Opening his eyes, Zama gazed at the four others in the room. All of them had gloomy faces, causing his expression to turn cold.
"In my defense, the one I met was a total monster. With nothing but his sword, he took on every competitor at the same time and defeated us... He-"
"Shut it!!"
But, before the blue-haired female could finish, Zaman shouted with an utterly cold voice, as the temperature in the room dropped.
Tsk!
"To lose to weaklings, do you not feel shame...!"
"I didn't even need to use my second element, yet it was an easy victory..."
