Swimming Time

A week had gone by since the entrance ceremony.

The students has slowly adapted to their new environment. Most of them are in a shopping spree with their new amount of money they had. I also splurged a little with my points with food, a gaming device, a gym membership, and some upgrade on my smartphone to easily access Ritsu.

"Woah, you look amazing Karma-kun. Do you exercise?"

"Well yeah, I do."

Our class today is swimming. The guys are pretty pumped up with that thought. After all swimming classes are co-ed. That means we gt to see the girls showing a lot of skin.

I also showed my upper body and I could say I look much like a hard trained soldier after an entire year of assassination training.

"Hey Karma-kun, do you have a girlfriend?"

"Me? Not really."

"Ehh~ Then what do you think about me?"

"Hmm, a 6/10 based on looks."

"So cruel, I thought I'm pretty cute though."

"Don't be discouraged. I can also give you a good time even without dating."

"Oh my your such a flirt."

"How about me Karma-kun?"

I was surrounded by the girls in my class. Since I entered high school my soft childish features are slowly fading. I could tell my face is getting sharper and manlier everytime I look in the mirror. And by objective evaluation I could say I'm good looking.

Everyone is still so relaxed like normal high school students. Ryuen still hasn't started to exert his power to rule the Class, so everyone is still carefree.

I could feel the gazes from the males at me. I could feel their envious looks from behind my back.

"Everyone gather up!"

A macho-looking middle-aged man, the kind of guy who apparently devoted himself to sports, gathered everyone together and started the class.

First he had us do some warmups and stretches. Next is the practice swim for 50 meters. Everyone participated swimmingly.

"Alright. I'll have you start competing against each other. We'll separate groups by gender. Fifty-meter freestyle." The macho-looking teacher said. "I'll give out a special bonus to the first-place winner: 5000 points. The student who comes in last place, however, will have to take supplementary lessons."

With rewards hanging on the air, some students who are confident with their skills are motivated, while the less confident groaned.

The first students who are up for the race are males. The one who won is Ryuen.

The next batch are the females. The competition are close and the winner is someone from the swimming club.

It was my turn next to be called for the race. I overwhelmed all my competition by winning ahead by more than five meters the second place.

"Wow~ you're so amazing Karma-kun!"

The girls cheered after I won.

Next up are several batches of competition. In the end the winner of the girl's category was the girl in the swimming club and second with the loner Ibuki.

Next would be the final competition with the boy's category.

"Kuku, you move really well." Unexpectedly Ryuen came next to my lane talked to me.

"Really? It's nothing to fuss about. It'll be an easy victory this time."

"You're really an arrogant bastard aren't you?"

"It's not being arrogant. I'm just telling the truth."

With that short back and forth, the teacher gave the signal to start.

I dove in high and swam rapidly. I came ahead in front of everyone. Even Ryuen who is second only to me have a major gap between us.

"Winner, Akabane Karma!" The teacher announced the winner.

Everybody cheered after that splendid display of athletic ability.

I went to Ryuen and clasped him on the shoulders and released a bit of my bloodlust, "You worked hard."

Ryuen shivered a little, but the corner of his lips curled up a little and gave a little more of his signature 'kuku' laugh.

Later in the afternoon, the school bell rings signalling the end of classes for the day.

I was invited by a group of girls to hang out in Keyaki Mall today. I didn't refuse, I was interested in it. I haven't been there yet.

"Hey hey, Karma-kun what kind of school did you go to in middle school?"

"Do you have any girlfriend there?"

"I'm sure you have many. I mean you're so good looking."

What do people call this? When a man have two girls with him, it's called having beautiful flowers on each of your arms. But in this situation I have four. At this rate I have to grow another pair of arms to accommodate all of them. Well I'm a sinful man charming innocent girls.

Their names are Manabe Shiho, Nanami Yabu, Yamashita Saki, and Morofuji Rika. They're the popular group of girls in Class C, pretty high up in the social ladder. As Ryuen still hasn't began his reign of terror in class, you could say they're at the peak of the Class. Well it's only like that since Manabe is the leader of the group, which has a pretty dominant personality. In short, they're the mean girls and her lackeys you often see in campus settings in stories.

We went through various places. We had a ton of fun looking at them and playing around. There's all sorts of fun places like the karaoke, bowling, billiards, arcades, etc etc.

I could feel the envious gazes of the other male students that could see us. I just realized I become Mr. Popular.
