Chiffon Cake

"Ohhh, look at that cake, its so big", Luffy said, he was about to jump in when Zoro stopped him.

"Stop it Luffy, Momonosuke haven't blow the candles yet", Zoro said.

"What is that, Sanji-dono? Kinemon asked.

"Kin-san, they call that thing a cake and they are like a traditional delicacy in the outside world, he also added that this things are prepared during a celebration so he saw it fit for the party tonight" Kiku said.

"How does it taste? Momonosuke asked excitedly, be wondered what thing is and most of them haven't seen one before.

"Well you'll know after you blow this candles", Sanji answered, he is quite excited too since the cake was his work.

Standing at the top of the cake was 10 white candles, each representing a year.

"Ohss, Momonosuke are you ready? Sanji asked, he got no response so he just went and light each candle.

"Jimbe, you still have that video recording and projecting snail right", He asked.

"Snail recorder? What do we need it for? Jimbe asked.

"Ofcourse you know it right, everyone should see the time Momonosuke blows this candles so we need the snails to record and project them", Sanji asnwered.

"Oh, thats all? Then its no problem", Jimbie said, he then took out a snail and started to record from the sides, he focused it mainly to Momonosuke since he was the birthday boy, he then went to place another snail at the back and pointed its eyes to the large empty wall. There, everyone could see clearly what was happening in the stage

"Oreee, is that something they used outside, its like magic" a man from the crowd wondered.

They could clearly see it, the cake, Momonosuke, everyone, it is such a wonderful thing to watch.

"You may now blow your candles, Momonosuke", Sanji said.

"Ohh, like blow as in put the fire out" Momonosuke asked, he is naive when it comes to things likes this, after all this were things practised in the outside world.

"Ofcourse, just blow it, put it out", Sanji answered, confirming Momonosuke's thoughts.

"Ohh, I can't miss this, I prepared a snail camera with me too, lets go, Momo-chan, I'll count to three all right", Nami said.

"Right", Momonosuke answered.

When Nami started counting, everyone in the stage went along and so the crowd did, but they were not in synchronization so Nami took the initiative to announce to everyone to count again.

"Lets count again but this time, lets do it in sync", She shouted.

"Blow your candles!" Nami excitedly shouted.

Momonosuke was so embarrassed about this, after all he haven't experience this before and everyone seems to ... he couldn't figure out why but decided to do as they say, he blew the candles and the smoke went to the sky and dissolved with the lanterns.

"Yes!, got it on time, Momo-chan you got anything to say before we start the banquet?", Nami asked

Momonosuke then went in front of the crowd.

"E- ev- everyone, its my pleasure to see you all here tonight and I wanna thank you guys for the surprises, I didn't expect such thing so I was quite surprised, I even forgot today was my birthday", He then laughed trying to calm down, he was talking in front of a crowd after all and he is quite nervous.

"Ohh, Momonosuke-samaaa", a girl from the crowd shouted, "Do you have a girlfriend", the girl asked.

Hiyori then went barging in front of the crowd, "Huhh!, what was that? She asked, clearly pissed off.

"Ohh, Hiyori-sama, what's the problem", a man from the crowd asked.

"I will certainly not allow any girlfriend, not until he comes into a right age" Hiyori shouted.

"Sister, calm down, its not like I am gonna accept a girlfriend anyway, I know I am still young but you can't come barging in a party like this", Momonosuke said, he laughed at the situation and looked at her sister in front of everyone.

Everyone laughed too, this is one of the rare times where they would see the real personalities and attitudes of the families of the shogun, and they didn't expect that Hiyori would mention this and put a restriction on her brother. After all, their father was quite known for making a lot of harems back then.

She was so embarrassed, it happened again. "Damn", she mumbled, she then went in front of Momonosuke, "Its good to hear that", She said before running off to the sides to hide.

"Thats all, I hope we all have a good feast tonight" Momonosuke said.

"Lets start the banquet", Sanji shouted.

From the sides, hundreds of dishes appeared, they were on top of a rolling cart and Sanji prepared a lot today expecting there was a lot of people.

"Ussop, why don't you provide everyone with tables" Sanji said.

"You guys better look at my new technique" He shouted, "Green Exploding Star : Banquet Table".

Vines started to spread around the streets and wrap around each other, and before they knew it, long tables were already formed and they were short in height since providing everyone with seats would be difficult one.

"Ohhh, amazing, Ussop" Momonosuke shouted.

"Humph! Ofcourse it is, I am the one who created it after all", Ussop replied, straightening his back and elevated his height and pointed to himself as if he was above people.

"Oi!, Momonosuke, everyone! Sanji called out, "Wanna try the cake!" He shouted.

"Ofcourse! Everyone, lets try it out. Momonosuke said.

"I wonder how it taste", Kiku thought.

"Oii, Moss-head, you wanna try your skills on this cake" Sanji asked.

"Ofcourse, but with my sword? Zoro replied.

"Huh?! What do you mean with your sword, you wanna curse us you damned moss", Sanji said.

"Huh?!, I was just asking you damn-cook. So where are the knives. Ohh, this knife of yours really is great huh, it has sharp edges and cool patterns", Zoro said.

"Huh, I don't take compliments from a moss-ball", Sanji replied.

"You are really getting on my nerves you damned-cook, now tell me where I should start before I point this in your neck" Zoro mockingly said.

"Oii, you two, have you sign a peace treaty yet, you guys are always shitty with each other", Nami said.

"Huh?! What was that, peace treaty!? Zoro mockingly asked

"Come on, just proceed with it Zoro, you're wasting time", Nami said, she is always going to be pissed off waiting like this.

Zoro then sliced each layer of the cake into 8 pieces and gave one each to the others.

"Ohh, this is really yummy, I didn't know something like this exist outside", Momonosuke said, he then quickly ate the cake and asked for seconds.

"So delicious, Sanji-san" Kiku said.

"Ofcourse, mademoise--, arghhh!!" Sanji replied, fooled again.

"Oh, Sanji-dono, this really is great, I am even more impressed with your cooking skills now", Kinemon said.

"It was Momonosuke's birthday after all", Sanji answered.

Then a loud clanging sound of metals was heard. In the center of all this commotion was Luffy holding a pan and a metal spatula in his hand.

"Everyone, lets party!!" Luffy shouted, "Come on, everyone lets sing! He added, "If no one's gonna sing then I'll do it".

Luffy then sang his typical party song, everyone laughed at his songs but it raised some peoples energy a little. Soon, everyone started to sing all together and the real party is now starting and the formal banquet was over.

Everyone sang and dance for an hour and a half and the other surprises will soon take over as the party has died down a little and Momonosuke will be off in a little trip in the woods.
