Sister

Dante was in his room changing clothes and could not understand one thing. That thing was why this maid named cherry kept looking at him like he was his savior or something like that.

Well, I get it that she may like me, after all, I was in good mode during my time skip. Still what happened for her to behave like that?

She behaved very kindly and with caring actions and that was good, yes but in this situation was not expected. Was she a pedo...

'There is no way she is one, from her age she is 14 at most. She is supposed to know her boundaries.'

'Something must have happened for her to act like this, maybe I did something that was very appreciated by her during the time skip. Not that I remember.'

As Dante was changing clothes he was once again thinking about what would he do now. Since this was his first day. Then suddenly the maid said.

"Master, would you like to meet your sister today, She is free today from her academic studies," Cherry said happily and excitedly.

Dante was shocked and received pain in his head, which was his acquiring memories from the information pool about his sister.

'So that is why pearl didn't give me all memories set. It hurts like hell or like someone putting a screwdriver through your head. Where is my physical resistance through the gamer body? Why do I have to feel pain? This is not a good thing. Damn it all !' Dante was miserable right now.

Cherry the maid, did everything required of a maid to do and after combing hair of Dante, she was smiling with glitter and a halo could be seen from her back. Well, it was not a halo but just light from the window.

Dante was remembering his sister now and the maid didn't say anything when she saw Dante looking in the mirror and lost in his thoughts.

Well as per etiquettes, maids are not supposed to disturb their masters when they are thinking something and don't want to be disturbed.

So cherry just stood there to wait for her young master to come out of his thoughts.

Dante was recalling the memories and could not comprehend, how the hell he had a sister. Wasn't he supposed to be transmigrated with a solo body? How come he had a sister and that was also his twin sister?

The experience he had from reading so many books says that he was supposed to be a lone child and due to his luck being so bad, there is no way he would get some good sibling love or anything.

Dante didn't care if he had a sister or not. The reason why he disliked it was that he had a half-sister in his last life and she betrayed his trust and love even though he was kind enough and caring enough.

This thought was killing Dante and he remembered something that he should not remember. Yes, the trauma was still fresh but could be ignored. The despair arises...

Dante felt he was free from his worries now. Thankfully he had a Painless body whose subskill was the Painless mind which activated when he was going through emotional trauma and bad moments.

'Since the skill was activated, then that means this was bad for me and could have made me lose my acting persona. Good thing Painless mind is a passive skill and will only activate when I am going through emotional damage.' Dante sighed nervously.

Dante remembered his twin sister who was a package of happiness and a kind, warm, playful girl. Her name was 'Samantha von Wolfsberg'. She was a ditto copy of his mother with everything similar except she was very small right now. She was mostly moody and wants to play with her big brother whenever she had time and she didn't like her brother playing with others when she was present. She was a bro-con truly. But still, Dante liked her because she was a bundle of happiness, so it was all good for now.

'I don't care much about her, but still, it is good for my plans to have a sister as a backup if things go bad. Of course, I won't use her or anything, just make her do some easy things in the future now that she is available to be utilized.' Dante thought.

Dante was not a bad person and he was against using people. But sometimes you have to do things that will make life easier and better for yourself and others.

Dante looked at his maid and replied. "Yes, I will see my sister later today. For now, I need to be in my room. Kindly can you give me some time alone, cherry?"

Cherry looked somewhat sad after he said that but followed the order and left the room for Dante.

Dante was now ready to unravel some mysteries of this world and was going to ask for an explanation from pearl. Dante knew that now he didn't have time to play around since his body-soul sync was not good and needed external help like the system to make do for some reasons.

"Pearl, come to me and explain the details about my mission and history of the world."
