Tsunade was surprised by the young woman with glasses who had taught the child; she clearly possessed a good knowledge of medical ninjutsu.
However, Tsunade chose not to dwell on it. The woman runs an orphanage on the outskirts of Konoha, where she must have taken in children from different parts of the nation.
The orphanage run by Nonō was one of the few places that provided shelter and education for the orphans. However, it was also threatened by the attacks of the sand ninja and the schemes of Root. Tsunade had faith that she comprehended the gravity of the situation.
The aunt asked nervously, "Is it dangerous to go to the front line?"
Kaito chuckled and said, "The front line is dangerous, but our leader told us to guard the medical ninjas with our lives. You will be safe unless we all perish."
The aunt looked at Nonō, the head of the orphanage, for her decision.
Nonō agreed, "We should help the Konoha ninjas defend the land of the fire. When do you want us to leave?"
She thought of the children in the orphanage, who were all war orphans and depended on Konoha's funding.
However, the money was barely enough to cover the daily expenses, so she had to travel to different countries and treat villagers for extra income.
If it wasn't for the money, maybe that night... She shook her head and pushed away those thoughts.
She was unaware of her thought and nodded. "Kaito, help the rest of the squad count how many people here can use medical ninjutsu and bring them over tomorrow."
She said that and left with Shizune. She was quick and efficient, and she did not worry about how to pay these hired helpers.
"Yes, Tsunade-sama!"

A month later, in the afternoon, Fugaku found himself in a constant downpour in a forest within the Land of Rain.
He stood face-to-face with an enormous spider, measuring almost two meters in length, as it lunged towards him with its venomous fangs. Fugaku managed a faint smile before swiftly striking it down with his trusty katana.
With a sweeping motion, he unleashed a slash arc that sliced the spider in half, leaving a deep gash in a nearby tree.
Inspecting his worn and chipped katana, Fugaku muttered to himself, "I need to acquire a new blade."
He had broken and discarded three katanas during his time in the Land of Rain. His main purpose for being there was to locate a summoning beast capable of flight, yet his search has yielded no results thus far.
Within the treacherous terrain, Fugaku had encountered mutated creatures of colossal proportions, ranging from giant tigers to oversized butterflies. These battles served as an opportunity for him to refine his kenjutsu skills, relying heavily on his katana.
In addition, he had successfully mastered two techniques that had come to mind: the chakra blade and the wind barrier. Fugaku desired to develop his own unique "kenjustu style"—a fearsome whirlwind attack that could cut through multiple enemies in a single sweep.
However, he came to the realization that this technique would not fall solely under the realm of pure kenjutsu but rather draw from Konoha's swordsmanship, which predominantly belonged to ninjas.
Disheartened, Fugaku concluded that the elusive summoning beast he sought could only be sensed by those who possessed the Rinnegan. Unfortunately, his search through the Land of Rain had yet to bear fruit.
Despite having traversed every corner of the vast territory, the bird he was after remained elusive.
Fugaku sighed. "It seems I can't find it in the Rain Village."
He decided to go back to the inn and take the Grass Country princess to her country and search there. If he still failed, he would return to Konoha.
As Fugaku continued his journey, the rhythmic clinking of his katana against his thigh resonated through the air. However, his progress was abruptly halted when he found himself encircled by a formidable group of seven ninjas. Their intense gaze bore down on him, conveying a clear intent.
Puzzled, Fugaku inquired, "What do you want?"
Confusion etched across his face, for he had not stirred any trouble during his time in the Rain Village. His sole purpose was to seek a summoning beast; why, then, were these ninjas seemingly after him?
"We heard rumors of a stylish bandit slayer named Yasuo who claims to have prowess in defeating ninjas. Are you not the one?" He queried, skepticism lacing his words. Fugaku's appearance matched the description, barring one detail: his hair.
It dawned on Fugaku that the origin of these rumors was none other than Jiro, the merchant. What began as a mere charade to pass an unnoticed border had now thrust him into an unforeseen predicament.
"I've never claimed such a lame title. You seem weak. How can you be a sword master?" scoffed another ninja, casting doubt on Fugaku's alleged skills.
"And daring to challenge Hanzo-sama? Quite audacious!" added a third, a hint of disdain coloring his tone.
Fugaku, bewildered, had never expressed any interest in confronting Hanzo.
Cursing Jiro under his breath, Fugaku found himself reluctant to offer an explanation. Clad in a black raincoat, he vented his frustration: "What do you want?"
Mockingly, the leader retorted, "How can Hanzo-sama be challenged by a nobody like you? We'll test your merit!" His words dripped with admiration for Hanzo and contempt for him.
Disheartened, Fugaku sighed. "I don't wish to fight."
Despite his reluctance, the ninjas, undeterred, declared their intention to teach him a lesson. The leader's command echoed, and the six remaining ninjas lunged at Fugaku simultaneously, determined to put his purported skills to the test.
