Dyer found an inheritance left by one of the creators when he was still a rank 8 mage. He discovered his third eye and a wealth of information concerning the world's secrets within that inheritance.

Most rank 9 mages don't know what a world invasion is, but Dyer does because it is warned about in the inheritance.

Dyer had never seen a world invasion, but as he contemplated that pill container, he became increasingly confident that a world invasion was underway.

The inheritance stated that the universe is full of different worlds, some more powerful than others. A world invasion occurs when 'people' from other worlds attempt to breach the protective shield of the target world.

One common way is placing 'spies' within the target world.

These 'spies' open a portal, enabling the invading world to launch an attack.

It was stated in the inheritance that any 'spies' should be eliminated as soon as they were found.

Dyer wasn't entirely convinced. He wasn't foolish. Why did the two creators donate a complete set of laws to create this world?

Was it an act of charity?

It's possible that they were genuinely benevolent, but it's far more likely that they were sowing a seed to harvest in the future.

Dyer was almost certain that the creators would return at some point in the distant future, possibly long after his demise, to reap what they had sown.

"This is an enormous danger, but it may also be a huge opportunity! As it's going, I may never discover the flaw in the fragment law of destiny. I've lived for over 100 million years, and less than half of my lifespan remains. If I lose this opportunity, I may never reach rank 10," he thought.

Dyer is thinking about lifespan because, in his opinion, its absence is temporary.

It will likely return in some form after the merger of the two rivers. Without lifespan, the consumption of the rivers of time would be terrifying.

He quickly dismissed any plans for destroying the container.

"My luck is increasing as Doris approaches obtaining the rank 10 spell crystal. This is a sign that if I am careful, I will benefit greatly from all of this. Doris is probably just a subordinate to that pill container. Should I allow her to obtain the rank 10 mana crystal?" He closed his eyes and began to think and calculate.

After a long time, he opened his eyes and thought, "If I try to stop Doris or even ask questions from her, my luck gets eviscerated, even going into the negative! I should wait and see," he thought.

Luck represents how much one can affect the world. For mortals, it doesn't necessarily represent a longer life, but for mages, more influence almost always means a higher rank and a longer life.

Plus, in the fragment law of destiny, there are other ways to calculate whether luck is positive or negative, but those methods take too long.

Having decided to do nothing and wait and see, Dyer informed people that he would enter closed-door meditation for a few years. He intended to calculate every detail and then confidently decide his future actions.

The hierarchy of Heaven was very strict.

There were three main bodies of governance in Heaven: the Wisdom Council, the Executive Council, and the Gods Council.

The Wisdom Council served as the legislative arm of Heaven, consisting of 10 gods as members.

Their primary responsibility was to create laws.

The Executive Council was responsible for executing the laws established by the Wisdom Council. It consisted of 20 members who were authorized to act in accordance with the instructions of the Wisdom Council.

None of them had one leader; each god had an equal say, and any point of contention would be put to a vote.

The Gods Council consisted of the other 81 gods who weren't members of either the Wisdom Council or the Executive Council. Its role was to act as the judiciary, resolving disagreements between the Executive Council and the Wisdom Council.

Recently, Wisdom Council members approved a law allowing demons and humans to enter Heaven if they satisfied certain conditions.

Members of the Executive Council were overwhelmingly opposed, but as the executive branch, they had no choice but to comply.

The criteria were that anyone who passed 'judgment' would be allowed to enter Heaven if they satisfied the following conditions:

To- Swearing an oath to respect Heaven's laws as set by the Wisdom Council.

To- Reproduce only after getting permission from a member of the executive council

And to- Leaving Heaven at any time the Wisdom Council passed a law mandating it.

The 'Judgment' spell had three versions.

One was the heavenly version, which could be passed if the target had never done anything that angels considered evil.

The second version was the mage's, which could be passed if the target had never intended to do anything that angels considered evil.

The third version was Hell's version, which could only be passed by people who intentionally did things that angels considered evil.

This spell was originally exclusive to Heaven but was later tweaked, and the other versions were created. It operates based on the law of space and always makes the right judgment.

After the original duty took over, many people's lives changed, but it didn't cause a mass extinction.

Mages quickly constructed formations around important cities, with plans for even larger formations in progress.

The problem was more serious for mortal continents, but most found ways to survive.

In the long term, the world will adapt to it eventually.

The continent of Kyla was a mortal continent.

Since Original Duty's takeover, countries began aggressively using pest controls everywhere. This made many fields poisonous, but being a little poisoned was considered better than facing death by insects.

Kyla continent consisted of many large countries with fairly advanced mortal technology.

In these mortal continents, mages didn't exist. For this reason, mortal science was overall much more advanced. It was a pity for them that mortal science had limits and could never rival the power of mages.

Many countries in the Kyla continent began contemplating ways to control the human population explosion.

They started distributing birth control and implementing policies that significantly reduced support for children, such as a tax for every child born.

These policies made it far more expensive to have children.

However, they had yet to go as far as altogether banning childbearing.

Shelby Fischer, a mortal living in a rural village, gazed at the white fog surrounding the village.

It had appeared a few days ago, and as it had appeared, everyone became much happier.

Numerous people with chronic diseases were cured overnight.

They didn't know what it was, but they liked it.

However, today, a man in armor with two sets of wings emerged. He looked like he had stepped straight out of a painting Shelby had seen in his childhood, one that depicted angels.

The man gathered everyone and began speaking, "Everyone, you have an opportunity to be brought to Heaven to live in peace. One by one, come forward when I read your name. You will be tested on whether you meet the conditions. By the way, I am Bryn, a four-winged angel from Heaven, and I'm happy to meet you."

Everyone had their guesses about the identity of this man, but after hearing it from him, it was still difficult to believe.

The angel started naming people, and one by one, they went forward. The angel cast a strange white light on each person who stepped forward.

The white light surrounded the person and darkened before fading.

Each time the light dimmed, the angel looked visibly upset. He sent those who the light darkened on to stand away.

The next one in line was a four-year-old child.

Bryn cast 'judgment' on her, and the shining light didn't darken; instead, it shone more brightly.

The angel smiled happily and said, "You passed the judgment and can migrate to Heaven! Just place your finger on this spot!" Bryn took out a paper with writing on it.

The child looked at the angel and then at her mom.

Her mother emerged from the crowd of those who had already failed and said, "That is my child! You can't take her!"

The angel frowned and retrieved the rule book.

The Executive Council had written it as guidance for low-level angels on how to apply the law.

After reading for a while, he said, "There is no rule regarding this! Even if she is a young human, she has the same right to migrate into Heaven as anyone else."

Then, he looked at the 'young human,' who was looking blankly at him, specifically at his beautiful wings.

Bryn smiled kindly and handed a piece of paper to her.

The child took the paper, and her finger pressed on it.

"It's done. Congratulations! You will now be sent to Heaven. You'll swear an oath there, and then you'll able to enjoy eternal happiness," he said with a very light tone.

With a wave of his hand, a bright beam surrounded the child.

When the light disappeared, the child was nowhere to be seen.

"Teresa!" the mother ran to the side of the angel and looked around.

"Where is my daughter?" she said while crying.

"She is in Heaven! Unlike you, she was pure and innocent," the angel replied, looking down at her.

The mother continued to scream, and others in the crowd also protested.

This was despite the effect of a vast amount of light elements that corrupted this area. Many of these people would have already fled in terror if it weren't for the light element.

But mortals can't really resist the positive energy. With negative emotions like fear and worry greatly suppressed, everyone, even the mom, quieted down after a while, and the test continued.

Soon, Shelby was called to be tested.

The angel cast 'judgment,' and a bright light appeared. After a while, it didn't darken and continued to shine. The angel smiled and said, "You are the first 'older human' who passed! Congratulations, press your finger here."

Shelby, who was dumbfounded, pressed his finger and was sent to Heaven by the angel.

The angel continued, and soon everyone was tested.

The results were as follows:

Out of 601 people tested, 122 passed, and out of those 122, 121 were 'young humans.'

A few of the young humans refused to finger the document, which absolutely baffled the Bryn, but most eventually pressed their fingers and were sent to Heaven.

Bryn looked at the humans with disdain and said, "You are hereby refused entry to Heaven because of corruption!" Then, he flew away.

After a while, the light element disappeared, and with the effects of the light element gone, everyone became terrified.

Many parents were going mad, trying to find their children, but to no avail.

Soon, there was a rumor about monsters who steal children in the surrounding area.

Rachel was looking at the reflection.

It showed a picture of Zagronan's death on the ground.

The reflection's information was vague, saying, "One dies with too much darkness."

She frowned.

"It's the last day before the next match, and I still haven't managed to find the opponent's weakness," she thought.

"Rachel, what are we going to do tomorrow?" Zagronan spoke with worry.

"There is another opportunity tomorrow; hopefully, I can calculate his weakness," she said.

Rachel had already told Zagronan that she could predict the future once a day. This was only partially accurate information, and if Zagronan leaked it in any way, it would mislead the enemy. She could use 'Dive in Time' more than once a day but chose not to because it would excessively disrupt the river of time.

"Just take the 'Wings' pill for now."

The 'Wings' pill was beneficial for increasing flight speed in the air.

Soon, it was the next day.

Zagronan was standing in the arena with worry.

Rachel still hadn't managed to discover the opponent's weakness.

She only knew that his power was called 'Swallowing All.' Everything became consumable with 'Swallowing All' active.

The opponent was a royal demon from the demon god of gluttony.

Both got prepared in their positions and with a loud bang, the match started!
