"An Yue's Backstory (3)"
Fu Zhuzi also checked An Yue's breathing, and she was struggling to breathe properly. An Yue's breath was short and fast, mostly she was just gasping for air.
What actually happened here??
"Oi Zhuzi!" The old man finally arrived at his place using his leaf boat.
He stepped down from the leaf and scooted closer to Fu Zhuzi and An Yue.
"What happened? Where are the sect master and his wife?"
The old man kneeled next to Fu Zhuzi while observing the little girl on Fu Zhuzi's lap.
"I... I don't know, old man. But I smelt a burning smell from here, and there is this strange crater here, near this girl."
Fu Zhuzi shook his head and still tried to help An Yue.
"Is little An Yue alright?" The old man glanced at the baby and stroked An Yue's jade black hair.
"She's still breathing. But there is some powerful aura radiating from her. She also has a high fever. This is... abnormal."
