Chapter 2
Its already been three days when Light leaves that town, but he can't still find another town.
His throat is dry, He have a water bottle in his bag, but still didn't drink it to avoid wasting resources...
"Damn, If my TP Scanner just didn't run out of power, I might have already found a city of something."

This pointless journey continued for a day and a night until he found the hope that would give him several days of comfort...

Its night time... Then Reylight saw some dim light just ahead. He walks further and saw a patch of giant mushrooms that illuminates itself.
A patch of 30-36 centimeter mushrooms with two glowing sacks just below its gills.
"Nice! It's Solar Mushrooms! Finally." Light said as happy as he can be.
With these resources, he can now stay alive for one and a half weeks...

Light immediately runs towards the patch of mushrooms, He drops his backpack on the sandy ground near it, takes his knife in his waist, and chop a mushroom.
He takes out a glass container, it's the "Energy Converter".
Light then pops the two glowing sacks under the mushroom and put the yellow fluids that oozing out of it inside the "Converter"... After all the fluids inside the mushroom have been emptied, the mushroom's glow disappears.
He continues this process until the "Converter" is full...

Light finished after an hour, and he harvested 36 mushrooms, It's not few but you can't still say that it's plenty.
"This amount is enough, the remaining mushrooms will grow and spread more as days goes by. This might help others for resources..."
Even though Reylight still hasn't seen any people in these past few years. He still clings to the possibility of someone out there still alive...

Its nighttime... Light Takes a black small cylinder out of his backpack, opens it, and reveals his portable tent...
After 5 minutes of building, he finished... Light then collects dried twigs scattered around and starts a fire, then cooked three of the mushrooms he harvested earlier...
He just skewer the mushrooms in a stick and put it close to the fire... Cooking this mushrooms will only last 3 minutes, after that its done...

When the mushrooms was cooked Light took a bite of one skewered mushroom, and appreciate the taste it gives as he chewed. "Delicious!" Light says as he shows a face of ecstasy.
"Solar Mushrooms" doesn't need to be seasoned as it already have a salty and citrusy flavor. Solar Mushrooms are also a good source of protein.

After 20 minutes, Light finished eating, he let the fire burn as it will provide heat for this cold night, then he goes inside the tent he built earlier... Light got inside, he opens his bag and took out the "Energy Converter" that was full of mushroom fluids, he then press the button below the Converter and a small green light lit next to the button... Next Reylight take an electrical cable, he connects the Energy Converter and his TP Scanner using it. After that the TP Scanner starts to charge...
"Finally..." Light quietly said.
Charging the TP scanner will take a while it might be finished by tomorrow morning, so Reylight sleeps for the day and wait for the sun to rise tomorrow...

Morning came, and Reylight is now awake. He then looked in his TP scanner, which looked like its almost full, then he realized that the yellow fluids inside the Energy Converter were mostly clear white, with only a small yellowish color left inside,
"Looks like it's nearly empty."

Light leaves the tent, and looks for his surroundings, "Nothing much..."
Aside from the ashes that his firewood made, there's nothing much to see. Looks like another peaceful morning came today.
After Light secures his surroundings, he starts to collect dried twigs again...
As he collects the dried twigs, he walks further away from the tent, Light then notices a big creature south from where he is, far away from the tent...
Light drops his collected twigs very fast and immediately crawls down. "Damned," he says unexpectedly. He tilted his head towards the big creature and he noticed that it was lying on the sand ground. Light waits for a minute without moving and making any sounds, then he notices that the creature is also not moving.

Reylight is panting, should he starts to move away from it or to investigate... The combination of his nervousness and the heat of the sun makes him sweat a lot...
After a minute of struggling as to what to decide, he chose to investigate...
Light slowly stands up and stays low at the same time. His upper body is bending forward staying low as much as possible... He then starts to walk forward...
Step by step, he can feel his heart beating faster and faster, "Getting close is very dangerous" he thought. But letting it wander near him is much more dangerous, he might be attacked at a moment's notice and can't do anything about it. By doing this, he can reduce that risk.

Light is getting closer and closer, using his left arm, he reaches his waist where his knife and steel himself. As he gets closer, the creature's physique becomes clearer, and Light is on the backside of this Desert Wolf. "I'm dead." Reylight thought. He meets a Desert Wolf! The Apex predator of this chaotic world...
After Light sees Wolf he thought of giving up. Giving up living, a Desert Wolf is a very dangerous being an alone man can imagine, even if Light takes his knife out, the Desert Wolf will kill him instantly...
Even still... Light won't back down even if he dies, so Light takes his knife and slowly approaches the Wolf. He's super close, so close that he can stab the Wolf already...
Light is ready... His ready to die
Until Light realizes it... The Desert Wolf is already dead. Its stomach is gouged open, The Desert Wolf is long dead...

Light drops his knife from the relief of staying alive...
The god of luck is with him...

Light returns to his tent along with the dried twigs he collected, he drops it in the ashes and gets inside his tent, the TP scanner is now fully charged... And the yellow fluids are completely gone.
Light throws the fluids inside the Energy Converter outside of it. He then starts to pack up his things...

After a few minutes of packing up, Light starts to move...
